Silva, Lia, and Mike could not stay for the burial of the four who had died, he couldn't even brief the Viscount about what happened, he was only able to tell it to Quin and let Quin handle the issue.
They got into their carriage and left town. Silva looked through the windows, observing Roxy's sad face as he left. He took a deep breath and put that to the back of his mind.
The carriage soon entered the forest. They would be arriving early the next day before classes start, as long as there was nothing to hold them back or waste their time.
"Yesterday, when the abominations suddenly attacked the town, I didn't see you," Mike said.
"I was searching for the person that caused the abominations to appear. I did find him, but he put up some crazy resistance, so I had to kill him. Obliterated him," Silva said.
