Desmond ignored her and said, "Just remember: asking questions is good, but sometimes too much information can harm you. Sometimes, knowledge isn't power. There's a reason why they say that ignorance is bliss."
Lucas still had questions, but he could tell that he needed to wait. So he asked one that he knew would be answered.
He asked, "So how can I construct a Mind's Eye?"
Desmond replied, "Slow down, tiger. First of all, constructing one's Mind's Eye is no simple matter. It takes time and effort. A lot of effort. The kind that has no relation to talent. So let's keep that aside for later. You don't even know what a Mind's Eye is yet."
Desmond looked at Lucas and thought, Well, he is a kid. It makes sense that he got excited after seeing what I did with the leaf. I just hope that this childishness stays for some time.
