Lucas said, "But don't beasts inherently prefer human blood? At least the carnivores?"
Sienna said, "That's true for beasts raised in the wild. The eggs you get from a Breeding Base are different. Their lust for human blood has long been suppressed. But doing that could reawaken it."
Lucas said, "I'll be careful in the future."
Sienna nodded and said, "Doing this is fine for herbivore beasts."
Lucas nodded.
Three days passed, and Lucas was about to complete that day's quota of mana condensation when he felt something. He instantly understood what was happening. The egg was finally hatching.
He stopped what he was doing and quickly went to the incubator. He saw that about 25% of the mana was still there. The egg began shaking. It shook about two or three times before a crack appeared.
