Chapter 76 - 338

Lucas Knox was a worker from the production management of NBC. He was 42 years old this year but he already lost his hair and went full bald instead.

NBC was one of the biggest TV Networks in the country and they were eager to find promising shows to fill their missing time slot. One of their shows was going to end this year and they were looking for another show to take over the time slot.

There was a rumor that Grey Pictures was filming a project and it was a TV Show. The rumor said that Kazir Grey might film the first five episodes of the Show!

Kazir Grey was recognized by everyone in the industry as the most profitable director of all time. All of the movies he participated in made money!

If you want to make sure that your movies will do great at the box office, just consult Kazir.

If you want to make sure that your career will prosper, just audition for Kazir's movies.

If you want to find profitable scripts? Simple, just buy scripts from Kazir Grey!

Because of this, Lucas was forced by his manager to contact Stella Willow, his ex-coworker.

Stella Willow and Lucas Knox started in the company at the same. The difference was that Stella slowly raised her position in the company while Lucas remained the same.

He was jealous at that time and didn't realize that the woman was a hardworking person and she deserved every promotion she received. Unfortunately, he was too jealous to understand that in the past.

So Lucas helped in kicking Stella out of NBC. He spread rumors that Stella was sleeping with the bosses to get a promotion. All of these were lies and Lucas knew about it.

When Stella resigned, that was the moment he realized that he made the wrong decision.

The guy who took over Stella's position as the head manager of Production Management was much worse... Thankfully that guy was fired because of sexual harassment. Hah, look at that.

But it did nothing good to Lucas Knox, the new person who took the position was much worse. And now Lucas was suffering. He became the punching bag in the company and he could not do anything at all.

He didn't want to quit because he had a mortgage loan to pay. Something that he couldn't afford if he lost his job.

So here he was, waiting for the approval to meet Stella Willow, the CEO of Grey Pictures.

Even though NBC was bigger than Grey Pictures, Stella's position was far better than her last job. Now, there was only one boss above her and she had the highest authority in the company.

Lucas received the message that he was allowed to enter and go to the sixth floor to meet the CEO.

The response he got was:

"I'm sorry Lucas but Grey Pictures already signed a contract with Fox TV. They will broadcast Game Of Thrones."

Lucas was not surprised at all... He already expected it. Perhaps NBC also expected it. All he did was for nothing. Now, he would receive another nagging from his boss and his salary might be deducted.

"Stella, are you hiring right now?"

He muttered.

Stella Willow stared at his eyes and replied.

"Lucas, I can't hire a backstabbing liar in this company. You worked for me once, and that's a mistake I don't want to happen again."

"..."

That was right, Stella was once Lucas' boss and he caused the woman to resign from her job at NBC.

...

April came and Kazir returned to Los Angeles to attend the last round of auditions for the female lead of Game Of Thrones. The filming of Pirates Of The Caribbean only needed two weeks to be completed and Kazir could start with editing the movie after that.

The audition for Daenerys Targaryen was going to end today.

Game Of Thrones had a lot of cast and all of them were like the protagonists. However, Daenery Targaryen was recognized as one of the most popular characters in the Show. So Kazir naturally took importance of this.

Peter Dinklage was already cast as Tyrion Lannister since he was the most qualified for the role. Only a few actors in the industry had dwarfism and only a few of them could act well like Peter Dinklage.

Kazir knew that Game Of Thrones was quite popular for the new actors and actresses since this was the first TV Show of Grey Pictures. The budget for each episode was $5 million. The news that Kazir would film the first five episodes also made it better.

Whenever Kazir was connected, the chances of success were higher.

"Thanks, Miss Adam. We will call you once we make a decision."

Amy Adams, a beautiful actress, nodded. She glanced at Kazir and said something.

"Um, director Grey. I just want to say that I also auditioned for a role in Napoleon Dynamite and you also said the same thing last time." She bitterly smiled.

"Hm? I did? Wait a minute, Napoleon Dynamite was in 1995." That was almost a decade ago and Kazir didn't expect that Amy Adams actually auditioned for a role.

"That's right, I was before Reese Witherspoon."

"... I see," Kazir muttered.

Amy Adams looked down and left the room. It seemed that she didn't do great this time, again.

"Kazir, I actually remember her," Harold whispered to Kazir.

"Is that so?"

"Yeah. Remember, I was with you when we did the audition for the role of Deb."

So far, the crew already met 7 actresses and all of them were promising. Even Amy Adams seemed a possibility.

However, Kazir was still waiting for someone... Too bad because he didn't know her name so he just hoped that he would meet her today. He was looking for the original Daenerys Targaryen.

Kazir could find an actress who could fit the role but that was his second option. For now, he was waiting for a miracle
