June 9 arrived and it was Sunday, The Hangover Part 3 made another $14.62 million.
Combined, the first weekend of The Hangover Part 3 grossed $40.91 million.
If this trend kept going on, perhaps The Hangover Part 3 could recoup the investment in just another week.
Warner Bros was confident in this movie after all many years. Especially if the writer was Kazir Grey. You couldn't help but be confident if someone like Kazir made a script. Because all of the scripts he wrote were successful.
So far, three huge invested movies have been released this year. Star Wars Episode 2, The Hangover Part 3, and John Carter of course.
Regarding John Carter, the movie already ended its screening in just 50 days. Cinema Alliance felt like it was useless for John Carter to have 300 theaters. It would be better if these theaters were allocated to other movies that seemed profitable, such as Star Wars Episode 2 and the new release The Hangover Part 3.
In the end, John Carter grossed $68 million at the North American box office... To make the situation crazier, it seemed that Walt Disney was desperate to recoup their investment and was still adamant about doing an international screening.
Michael Eisner was in a dangerous situation where he could lose his job. The atmosphere in The Walt Disney was bleak and dark.
"Again, who said that John Carter will be the start of a Cinematic Universe?"
Roy Disney gritted his teeth and muttered under his breath. The executives heard him despite his weak muttering.
"We have to understand and study this failure so that it won't happen again." Robert "Bob" Iger was the one who currently have the strongest influence in the company.
This guy started facing the two Michaels head on and he even kicked Michael Ovits from his position as the CEO.
Now, Robert Iger was the CEO.
As for the Chairman, Michael kept his expression, acting as if this was not his fault.
"The era is changing and we have to innovate," Robert Iger started his plan.
"I say we make a live-action of Snow White."
"..."
Simple, but it seems fine. At least.
"Of course there's a catch. We will make Snow White Hispanic and the seven dwarfs are not dwarfs at all but just ordinary men." Robert Iger added.
"... Your mind is crazy if you think that will work. In the first place, Snow White has the name of Snow White because of her white pale skin! What's your second idea then? You want to make Little Mermaid black?" Michael Eisner retorted.
"I know, that's why we have to be innovative. By the way, your idea seems worth it too. We can make a black Little Mermaid."
"The audience are not stupid, Robert. We are just race-baiting at that point."
"No, they are. People are stupid and they will buy tickets just to watch our stupid movies. Why? Because we are Walt Disney. We can make every type of movie and we will call it a revolution, no, woke is the better term to say it. We will make woke movies." He paused to take a breath.
"Don't forget that the founder of Walt Disney is a racist and nazi supporter."
Robert was like a delusional guy who believed that people were mindless creatures who would follow the will of the media.
"Regarding our 3d animations, I say we will teach the kids how to twerk... Damn, I suddenly feel like I want to see She-Hulk twerking."
Yes, Walt Disney was crazy and they deserve all the backlash that they currently suffering.
"I have an idea," a no-name executive slightly raised his hand to catch the attention of the executives.
The guy started talking and his plan was more pleasant.
"Since we are looking for a Cinematic Universe, why don't we just acquire Grey Pictures? They are the first in the industry that make one. I'm sure they can keep a steady flow of movies. We can also hire director Grey to make movies for us."
When he said that, a lot of people nodded their heads and felt like it was a great idea.
But one person didn't agree.
"Fuck no! I rather rape no-name actresses than agree on that!" A fat guy slammed his fists against the table out of anger.
"Harvey, we all know that you're raping no-name actresses anyway so you're statement is stupid."
"My answer will remain no."
Harvey Weinstein kept a low life after what happened with the Blair Witch Project. He was still the CEO of Miramax but he usually hid from the media because of the backlash of the Blair Witch Project.
"Let's do this, we will vote regarding this possible venture." Michael Eisner initiated.
He was also on the side of acquiring Grey Pictures. Hoping that the executives would focus more on the acquisition than finding faults in his administration.
Acquiring shares of Billion worth company was not that simple so this voting was just an initial proposal.
A few minutes later, more than 70% of the executives agreed to acquire Grey Pictures. A lot of them believe that Grey Pictures could help Walt Disney regarding their weakness, which was live-action movies. After all, Walt Disney focused more on animations and children-themed movies.
After that meeting, the executives had another thing to do. They have to do their own research regarding Grey Pictures.

After the premiere of The Hangover Part 3, Kazir returned to Canada to continue the filming of The Revenant.
He was a bit disappointed that he couldn't contact Angelina at that time. He even went to the studio building where the indoor filming of How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. However, the security didn't let him enter because the scenes of the movie should remain secret and unauthorized people were not allowed inside.
In the end, Kazir returned to Canada. It took another two months to complete all of the shots, Tom Cruise and the cast were on fire because of their great performance. Making the filming end faster.

[This chapter is very sarcastic and I intentionally did it like that. I turn Disney's executives into stupid monkeys because that's how I perceive them. Aight, four (including the chapter tomorrow) chapters huh.]
