Okuagu rolled to the left seconds before a dark tentacle crashed into his former position. "What is that thing?" Boaruss roared before he used his axe to slash at an incoming tentacle with the width of a human torso. "That is an inferior reaper, it absorbs the life force of any creature it touches" Lee replied while he froze some incoming tentacles that surged from the ground beneath them. Okuagu surrounded himself in flames as he incinerated some tentacles that were too close for comfort. "We will have to destroy its heart in order to kill it" Lee said, slashing some tentacles as he tried to close in on the reaper that just seemed to be a mass of tentacles. The reaper roared in pain when a rising beam of flames struck it in what would have been its chest. A birdlike screech followed the roar when the reaper took to the air with huge bat like wings sticking out of its back. More tentacles rushed towards Okuagu that was currently hurling some fire balls at the currently airborne reaper. "Normally I would have hurled my spear at the creature but alas I have no idea where its heart is and heat signature doesn't seem to be able to penetrate the darkness that surrounds it" thought Okuagu who tore through the tentacles with his blazing spear. Unfortunately, a dark tentacle managed to bypass his defenses before it struck him on the shoulder, a blinding pain followed as Okuagu suddenly felt tired like though he had been fighting for hours. Boaruss too gritted his teeth as some tentacles wrapped around his legs and tried to pull him up to the reaper, he however ignored the tentacles for his hands were too busy trying to slash tentacles that were targeting his head and chest respectively. Kicking the tentacles also proved useless for they refused to budge as they continued to sap his life-force.Lee meanwhile had not been affected by the reaper's tentacles thanks to his ice armor that proved quite effective against its dark attacks. With a jump Lee dodged a tentacle before he flipped in the air while he hurled some ice daggers at the reapers main body. The reaper used some of its tentacles to block the attacks leaving an opening that Okuagu utilized by hurling his spear with all of his might. The flaming spear struck the reaper on its chest before it exploded into bright bursts of flame. A loud screech followed as the reaper thrashed the hideout with more tentacles in an attempt to crush its attackers. "I think I know where the heart is" Okuagu said through short breaths as he struggled to dodge the tentacles that were crashing all around him. 'Where? Boaruss asked; inwardly thankful that the reaper had released its tentacles after the attack and thus giving him a moment to escape. "It is in its head" Okuagu replied after he used heat signature to penetrate the darkness that had receded after his spear had struck the reaper's chest. Boaruss and Lee nodded as the three of them rushed in to finish the job. Lee released some cold mists from his armor; freezing some tentacles seconds before Boaruss smashed them with his axe. "Boaruss I will need a lift on my signal" Okuagu shouted as he spun through the tentacles, cutting them in the process. Boaruss once again nodded before he hurled his axe at the reaper's head. The reaper with an angry roar swatted the axe with a tentacle that stuck it into the leviathan's skull. Lee dodged another tentacle before he gestured to Okuagu who smiled in return. A massive crystal illusory dragon crashed into the reaper freezing it's many tentacles in the process. The reaper roared in fury oblivious to the threat that was approachingOkuagu set himself on fire as he gathered heat into his legs before he jumped on a massive earth pillar underneath that propelled him high up into the air. A tentacle that had its point sharpened attacked the airborne Okuagu who spun in the air dodging the tentacle before he released huge amounts of flames from his feet thereby lifting him up. Taking advantage of the lift Okuagu grabbed the ominous reaper's cloaked head seconds before he crushed it against the leviathan's skull. The tentacles after that went still before a massive crack formed on the skull's surface.
