In the cold of the night, a black-haired man in a shirt furrowed his brows as he spotted a short blonde woman. His eyes wandered over her curves, captivated by her beauty.
The woman, ignoring him, muttered under her breath and turned toward him. Her skin was astonishingly pale, her nails sharp, and her eyes pink—almost glowing in the dark.
"Human?" The woman raised her brows curiously and licked her lips. The middle-aged man grinned, mistaking her interest for attraction.
