Chapter 29 - Tsa's *Nation*

"Pfft, you shouldn't be thinking like that brother Tsa." One of the other dragon lords chuckled.

"Oh shut it. Don't say you weren't thinking the same thing. Everyone knows the stronger the parents, the stronger the offspring. Our new friend is clearly the strongest female…" Tsa snapped back with a growl, stopping when he sensed a truly bone chilling glare. Turning to see a smiling face, it wasn't a good smile. No, it was clear to tell that it was meant to hold back something dangerous. "What's wrong, Silver?" Tsa all but gulped.

"Oh, you know, I'm a woman. And you will say as much. Or you may refer to me by my name." Night Silver explained in no uncertain terms. "That, or I could just… teach you a lesson." She smirked with a twitch of her eyelids. Seriously, they may technically be correct, it just feels degrading to be called a 'Female'. Especially when we're supposed to be equals.

"Oh, I see. I suppose your species does have this custom. Hmm, I meant no disrespect. Certainly didn't mean to drive a wedge in between us." Tsa nervously replied.

"Good, don't make that mistake again. Now show me this place you've had my people corralled." Night Silver said, in a slightly better mood.

The 5 dragons and Night Silver arrived at the location Tsa had organized the people to gather. There were yet another number of dragons awaiting the return of Tsa and the others. Though, it was important to note that not all of these dragons were dragon lords. In fact most of them were far too young to even be considered dragons, more like whelps or hatchlings.

It was a relatively quaint little area. One that seemed to be a little… off in some way. Night Silver scanned the surroundings vigilantly, even going as far as to prepare to cast her magic. Even she wouldn't have an easy time if she had to fight so many dragons at once whilst protecting the tens of thousands of people.

"Welcome back brothers. I trust everything went well. And you went and brought back a woman? Oh, say it isn't so!" One of the other Dragon Lord's tauntingly welcomed Tsa and the others.

"Sister, our new friend has made it quite clear that such a thing would be impossible for her." Tsa sighed, unable to say much more. After all, the dragon lord before him was one of his remaining elder sisters. Not too many were left alive after that battle. "How has adopting the humans, dwarves and elves been going?" He asked, holding in a sigh.

"Well, since you had asked to use this land first. It needed to be prepared first. Fortunately many of the people that remained were quite good at surviving off the land. I hardly had to lift a nail. See, isn't it a great place? They've already set up tents giving enough shelter for the lot of them." Tsa's Sister started elaborating.

"That's what it was about this place!" Night Silver reacted. "It has a feeling about it that only a woman could have noticed. No wonder why it felt this way! Tsa's big sister, you really know how to pick the place!" She continued.

"Oh my! You noticed it too! I think we're going to get along quite nicely. A shame I can't call you, Sister. Oh well, perhaps in the future." Tsa's Sister giggled. Though being a dragon the giggle seemed more sinister than it otherwise would have, even so Night Silver could tell.

"Now then, all that's left is to see how quickly I can impart some knowledge to these people…" Night Silver smiled.

It was at that moment when two, scared, yet dignified individuals walked over. One was tall with long ears and looked a bit pale and sickly. It was like he had been malnourished for most of his life. The other was a shorter stouter man with a scruffy and dirty beard. Though even he seemed a bit… Worse for wear or under the weather. Both of them wore what were clearly over used rags, used far longer than originally intended.

"Mother…" The tall man murmured without thinking. "Oh, apologies, I couldn't help myself. It's just I got this overwhelming sense of love and warmth when I saw you." He continued embarrassed that he blurted out something so random.

"Eh, she's not your mother? Odd, I get the sense she's got this motherly look in her eye when looking this way. It's comforting." The stouter man chuckled trying hard to be energetic.

"Don't worry about it. There are quite a lot of elves back in the nation I've formed with the aid of my friends. I'm used to it by now, and I'm technically a god mother of the elven race. So you're not entirely wrong… Now before you speak, eat these. They will help you recover." Night Silver smiled, handing each of the two men a berry.

The two men didn't hesitate when they saw food. There was nothing to worry about when it was coming from someone clearly so kind hearted. And the look on their faces after tasting the berry was priceless. They looked at each other quickly, eyes widening as tears fell from their eyes.

"Mother, I beg of you, please save our people. The little food we have isn't enough to go around. And many adults have gone without meals. All so we can preserve hope for the future." The tall man asked, dropping to his knees. He was an elf asking for help for his people.

"Lady goddess! I beg the same of you. Many of our people do not wish to continue living with humans. And would like to build elsewhere. Where we can feel more at home and comfortable. As the situation stands now there won't be enough food for everyone." The stout bearded man pleaded, similarly on his knees. Though, he didn't drop down much further to the ground as he was a dwarf and already quite short.

Night Silver thought for a moment. This isn't good. I had only been prepared to take away the elves. But I can't just turn my back on this dwarf either. If I did, that would make me no better than those corporations that destroyed my world. Alright, here goes. "Tsa, you wished for me to stay a few days longer, did you not? Well, if you allow me to take away all the dwarves who wish to leave. I think I can offer you a few more days." She said, passing the would be blame for the dwarves' circumstances onto Tsa.
