As Hinata feared, although Akira's words were bold, telling the Raikage to come to him whenever he had time, it ultimately left control in the Raikage's hands.
So, after spending an entire day in the Village Hidden in the Clouds, Raikage had made no attempt to meet him. It was obvious that the village was just waiting to see Akira humiliate himself.
Akira's visit to the Cloud Village wasn't a secret, and many of the Cloud Shinobi had been secretly keeping an eye on his movements.
Nobody knew why Akira had come to the Cloud Village, or what he'd been doing all day. When they learned that Akira had demanded the Raikage come meet him, and then simply waited at the guest quarters, the entire village was buzzing with excitement.
The Hidden Cloud Village, realizing that Raikage ignored the Leaf emissary for an entire day, seemed thrilled, feeling pride and satisfaction.
"Hey, have you heard? The so-called strongest Uchiha in the Shinobi World, Akira, has come to our village!"
"Of course, I heard! But so what if he's the strongest in the shinobi world? In the Cloud Village, even he has to bow!"
"Yeah, in the Cloud Village, whether you are a tiger or a dragon, you have to bow down all the same!"
"I heard that this Uchiha Akira is pretty arrogant, asking our Raikage to personally come meet him? What a joke! Our Raikage would never entertain that. Let's see how he handles this next!"
News about Akira spread quickly throughout the Cloud Village, and people discussed it in hushed voices on street corners, all eager to watch Akira embarrass himself.
How did Akira feel now, knowing that Raikage had ignored his request? They all wondered.
"Akira-sama, what do we do next?" Hinata's gaze fell on Akira, clearly noticing the cold response from the Cloud Village.
"Use their own methods against them!" Akira's expression remained calm. He wasn't the least bit angered by the Cloud Village's attempts to ridicule him.
Why get angry? The Cloud Village had always been at odds with the Leaf. If they didn't mock him, that would have been more surprising.
"Use their own methods against them?" The Leaf shinobi looked puzzled at Akira's words.
"What do you mean, Akira-sama?" Yusuke asked, not fully understanding.
"Back then, when the Cloud Shinobi came to the Leaf, they dared to target Hinata. Even after Hiashi-sama eliminated a few of them, they twisted the situation, claiming it was the Leaf's fault!
"This led to Hyuga Hizashi's death!
"That event was one of the greatest humiliations the Leaf has ever faced. Since I'm here today, I'll replicate the Cloud Village's actions for them!" Akira declared.
Although they didn't completely understand Akira's intent, one thing was clear.
Akira seemed to have a plan to deal with the current situation. And that was what mattered.
Since he had a plan, there was no reason for them to worry. They just had to watch how he would respond.
As night fell, Akira's figure vanished like a ghost and began moving through the Cloud Village.
Being one of the Five Great Nations, and the village second only to the Leaf, the Hidden Cloud's patrols were thorough and vigilant.
However, for someone of Akira's caliber, an entity beyond Kage-level, these patrols were hardly a challenge.
With his Body Flicker Technique, his movements were both ethereal and real at the same time. He moved without making a sound, not even a whisper of wind.
After searching for about half an hour, Akira found his target.
It was Killer Bee, the second most powerful shinobi in the Cloud Village and the Jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails.
In terms of strength, Killer Bee was undoubtedly one of the top-tier Kage-level fighters.
In the original timeline, even the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan wielded by Sasuke was no match for Killer Bee. It was clear that he was one of the top-ranking Kage-level warriors.
At that moment, Killer Bee was rapping to himself, jotting down lyrics in his notebook.
If this weren't the shinobi world, Killer Bee could easily pass for an artist passionately composing music.
"Ahem..." Akira softly cleared his throat from behind Killer Bee.
Hearing the sound, Killer Bee turned and spoke, "Yo yo, you're Akira from the Leaf, right? Fool, ya fool!"
His speech was accompanied by a strange rhythmic tone, as if he was still in his rapping zone.
Before Akira could even respond, Killer Bee continued, "Sorry, my creative juices are flowing right now. Whatever it is, could you wait a minute, fool, ya fool?"
Knowing that Killer Bee's phrases like "fool" were just verbal tics rather than insults, Akira didn't get angry.
Instead, he nodded understandingly and said, "Of course, take your time. I'll wait until you're done."
"You, fool, are pretty interesting!"
Killer Bee glanced at Akira and then went back to writing his lyrics.
Akira stood there quietly, not intending to interrupt Killer Bee.
After two or three minutes, Killer Bee finally put his notebook away.
Looking seriously at Akira, he asked, "You're called the strongest in the shinobi world, coming to me in the middle of the night. What do you want, fool, ya fool?"
"Nothing much. Just here to take you down," Akira said calmly.
"So, you're here for a fight?" Killer Bee's face turned serious upon hearing this.
"Bee, be careful. This guy is called the strongest for a reason; his power must be terrifying!" In Killer Bee's mental space, the Eight-Tails Gyuki warned him.
Killer Bee and the Eight-Tails had a bond like comrades fighting side by side, and this relationship allowed him to enter Tailed Beast Mode freely.
"Don't worry, I understand." Killer Bee nodded in response to Gyuki's warning.
After saying this, Killer Bee raised his hand, and several short swords appeared instantly!
He wielded these blades in a bizarre manner—some were held in his hands, others gripped between his joints, and even one was clenched between his teeth!
If Zoro, the Three-Sword Style swordsman, saw Killer Bee wielding so many swords, he would probably be overwhelmed and bow in admiration!
"Sorry, though I'd like to see your swordsmanship, today I intend to end this quickly," Akira said, shaking his head slightly as he observed Killer Bee's stance.
With that, Akira's eyes narrowed, revealing the Mangekyou Sharingan.
Powerful ocular energy surged towards the Eight-Tails.
In the original timeline, Sasuke, even with his Eternal Mangekyou, had failed to suppress a Tailed Beast and ended up getting beaten by Killer Bee—a true disgrace to the Uchiha name!
The power of the Uchiha was supposed to restrain Tailed Beasts and even Jinchuriki, wasn't it?
With an enormous amount of chakra, reaching almost 270,000 units, Akira's Mangekyou Sharingan unleashed unimaginable ocular power, directly impacting Killer Bee.
In Killer Bee's mental space, the Mangekyou Sharingan appeared, and instantly the overwhelming ocular power suppressed the presence of the Eight-Tails Gyuki.
"You, fool... you actually..." Killer Bee could clearly feel the suppression of Gyuki by the Mangekyou Sharingan.
To Killer Bee, Gyuki was like a partner.
But now, with Gyuki's power completely inaccessible, Killer Bee's heart grew heavier as he kept his eyes fixed on Akira.
So this was the power of an Uchiha? The power of the strongest in the shinobi world? He could suppress Gyuki's strength to the point where Killer Bee couldn't unleash his full power!
Since Killer Bee could undergo Tailed Beast transformation consciously, the Eight-Tails Gyuki accounted for a large portion of his overall power.
Now, with Gyuki completely subdued by the Sharingan, Killer Bee's power was essentially halved.
Taking a deep breath, Killer Bee knew that even without Gyuki, he couldn't just surrender.
Killer Bee lunged at Akira with lightning speed, determined to fight with all the strength he had left.
Akira, however, simply clapped his hands as he watched Killer Bee approach.
Whoosh!
The ground beneath Killer Bee split open, and a mass of vines emerged, coiling around him like agile serpents!
Killer Bee was fast, but the vines were faster.
Killer Bee was incredibly strong, yet these vines felt as if they were made of steel, and no matter what he did, he couldn't break free.
Worse still, Killer Bee could feel the chakra within his body being drained away by these vines, like a dammed river breaking loose.
With Killer Bee bound by the vines, Akira formed hand seals once more.
Dark, inky runes resembling tadpoles crawled up the vines, attaching themselves to Killer Bee and sealing his body firmly.
It wasn't exactly a one-shot victory, but Akira's overwhelming strength made it clear—this was a complete, crushing defeat for Killer Bee!
After sealing Killer Bee, Akira grabbed him and headed back to the guest quarters.
He had achieved his goal.
