On the way to Kyoto in the Land of Fire, White Zetsu made a practical suggestion. He proposed getting a hat that could cover their faces, making them less conspicuous.

Ye Zi was already using a simple, smooth wooden mask to conceal his face, but he accepted the suggestion and bought a hat with black curtains that could be lowered to hide his features in a nearby town.

White Zetsu looked at Ye Zi, who returned with a hat but empty hands, and asked, "Where's my hat?"

"I don't think you need one," Ye Zi glanced at White Zetsu's half-covered form, with leaves almost bursting into the sky, then turned and walked away.

White Zetsu stared speechlessly at Ye Zi's departing figure and followed.

The two continued their journey, and by sunset that day, they entered Kyoto.

The night sky was like a curtain drawn halfway, dotted with only a few stars. Below, the lights of Kyoto spread endlessly.

"Let's split up," Ye Zi suggested. He thought White Zetsu would only be a burden if he went to see Moko, especially with his distinct appearance.

White Zetsu readily agreed, raising both hands in approval. After all, he wasn't the kind to expose himself to sunlight for long; he had always watched the changes of the world from hidden corners.

After parting with White Zetsu, Ye Zi headed straight for the Yunhe family mansion.

The current daimyo hadn't been replaced yet, but Moko should have already been married to the daimyo's son. Though Ye Zi didn't know whether she was in the palace or the Yunhe family estate, he decided to check the Kumokawa estate first.

Compared to infiltrating Konoha, sneaking into the Kumokawa mansion was incredibly easy. The estate was guarded only by some chakra-wielding samurai, pitifully weak. Only the middle-aged butler he had seen at the gate had any real strength.

After sneaking into the mansion, Ye Zi quickly found Moko, but she was hosting a banquet, so he had to hide in a corner and patiently wait for a chance to meet her.

After what seemed like an eternity, the banquet finally ended, Moko went directly to the study, followed by two maids.

Once inside, she began reviewing the family's financial reports, while the two maids stood nearby, ready to be summoned.

Ye Zi waited patiently. It was late into the night when Moko seemed to grow tired and asked the maids to fetch the butler to seal away the reports. She then headed to her room alone, unaware that a shadow was silently trailing her.

Being the wealthiest family in the Land of Fire, it wasn't surprising that the mansion was luxurious. As the family head, Moko's quarters were not only spacious but also had an enormous bathroom.

Under Ye Zi's watchful eyes, Moko slowly undressed, revealing a curvaceous and alluring figure without a single ounce of excess fat.

Unaware of her observer, she gracefully entered the bath, submerging her body in the warm water and letting out a satisfied sigh.

At this moment, Moko was alone in the bathroom. It was the perfect time to appear, but after a moment of hesitation, Ye Zi decided not to reveal himself just yet and continued to wait.

After some time, Moko finished her bath and, wrapped in a robe, stepped out of the bathroom. It was nearly midnight.

She walked to the balcony, sat on a reclining chair, her long, pale legs crossing beneath her robe, shining faintly under the moonlight.

She raised her head slightly, gazing at the moon with a look of languidness and fatigue.

This was when Ye Zi chose to appear, slowly stepping out from the shadows behind her.

Sensing the movement, Moko turned her head. Upon seeing Ye Zi's figure, her body trembled slightly, her face showing surprise. But when she saw that he didn't step any closer, her rapidly beating heart began to calm, and the surprise on her face faded.

With the curtain of his hat concealing his face, and his entire body hidden under the black robe with red clouds, his figure appeared vague and mysterious. Anyone would be terrified to see such a figure appear in their room in the dead of night. But the shock on Moko's face lasted less than ten seconds.

Noticing how quickly she regained her composure, Ye Zi was slightly curious. His voice came out muffled through the mask, "You're not afraid?"

Moko rose from the chair, calmly adjusting her robe.

As Ye Zi observed, he noticed her hands didn't tremble at all.

Moko looked at Ye Zi and coolly replied, "If you were here to kill me, I'd already be dead. If you were here to kidnap me, I'd either be unconscious or already in your control. If you were here to assault me, you wouldn't hesitate to pounce on me. Since we're still standing here having a conversation, why should I be afraid?"

"You really haven't changed at all," Ye Zi remarked calmly, hearing her words.

"Oh?" Moko crossed her arms, pushing up her chest in an enticing manner, her ample bosom squeezed together provocatively. She asked, "Do I know you? Then, who are you?"

"Ye Zi," he said without hesitation, revealing his name.

At the mention of his name, a cold glint flashed in Moko's eyes. After a brief, mocking laugh, she coldly replied, "The owner of that name is already dead."

"In a sense, he is."

Ye Zi removed his hat, revealing a wooden mask beneath it. Then, under Moko's stunned gaze, he removed the mask as well.

In the moonlight, Moko saw his face clearly, and once again, shock flooded her expression.

"You… you're still alive."

Ye Zi didn't bother explaining. He got straight to the point. "I'm here for money. I need a large sum of funds."

After confirming that Ye Zi was indeed alive, the shock slowly faded from Moko's face. She calmly said, "I won't deny that my family is very wealthy, but we're not generous enough to just hand over a large sum of money to someone."

"Of course. So let's make a deal," Ye Zi said coldly. "Any task, I can do it."

"Heh, I always said you'd come begging to me one day."

Moko chuckled seductively and stepped up to Ye Zi, her delicate hand softly brushing his chiseled cheek as she whispered, "Since you came to me, the amount of money you need must be substantial. Do you think, given my current situation, I need to issue a task worth that much?"

Ye Zi remained silent, responding with a cold smile.

"You don't scare me," Muko said calmly in response to his cold smile. "I know your style of doing things. You could easily take the Kumokawa family's wealth by force, but you chose to make a deal instead. So, be happy."

Her hand gently caressed his face before slowly sliding down and brushing his chin, then retreating. She suddenly smiled brightly and said, "Fly with me again, and I'll give you the funds you need."

Under the soft moonlight, her beautiful face was illuminated, her smile made even more radiant.
