Suddenly, an ice dragon emerged from the frozen fog that now covered the once-grand Arcade household, its gleaming white scales glinting in the pale light of the afternoon sun. The ground beneath Henry and Parker shook as the beast landed with a crash, sending shards of ice skittering across the ground.
The air was frigid, their breaths visible in the cold as they stepped over what used to be the battlemages, now frozen statues, their expressions locked in terror. Parker clenched his fists, his usual sarcasm replaced by a rare look of seriousness. Henry, on the other hand, swallowed hard, clenching his fists tight with determination.
"Guess the cold shoulder these guards got was literal," Parker muttered, though the humor didn't reach his eyes. "Wow, even this guy got frozen?" He added as he saw an ice statue of Captain Odinel. (Odinel was asked to guard the mansions by Ferdinand)
