A massive whirlpool of water several miles formed and it was expanding, as though to cut off Wang Yue's path to retreat! But she didn't care about this at all, she just looked below her with a solemn expression.
"This is the opportunity to push my body potential and allow my saber conception to reach perfection." She thought about this but didn't say it out loud.
Holding the saber with both hands, she bought it before her, facing the sea, below her.
It was as though she was planning to stab into the sea, but the aura around her was different.
It seemed to be fusing with her saber conception. The two were supposed to be different forces, but due to the constant fights she had this idea and it was being implemented slowly. But even so, the power she had grasped on her own seemed much stronger than the artistic conception she had trained for all this time.
"I guess Brother was right! In the cultivation world, what is strongest and best suited is always one's creations." Wang Yue thought about this with a smile, and even become more confident as she took another step forward, her entire aura changed.
She was still in the grandmaster realm, but her aura and artistic conception of invincibility had already taken a step further into the great grandmaster stage. The realization alone had allowed her to save the hard work that some people have to accomplish for a long time.
In the same time, the red mist-like aura around her was dispersing, while a golden glow appeared behind her. It was as though she was carrying a golden sun behind her. The only difference was that this glow didn't have any masculine Yang nature of the sun, or arrogant aura one would expect from someone taking the path of invincibility.
As she took another step forward, she seemed to remember the conversation she had with her brother and he once told her that no existence could truly be invincible, and any existence could be invincible. At the time she was asked a question that she couldn't answer, which was if someone stronger than her attacked her, does she qualify as invincible then?
The question shocked her, after all, she heard about Wang Lu fighting stronger opponents with lower cultivation but in the end didn't he almost die at the hands of the stronger. But her brother asked her if his actions of daring to go against the flow were considered a form of invincibility.
He even talked about someone who has never won a fight but is always able to save their life and fight again without giving up and now that she was at this juncture, she had some insights.
"So that is it? Brother! I understand!" With every step she took, she was remembering what Wang Lu taught her growing up, and her enlightenment deepened as a result.
With the next step, she seemed to have traversed a long distance, and a question appeared in her mind, "What is my version of invincibility?"
"Brother usually says that I am someone who does not yield, in that case, my Invincibility should looking towards the future. Hope! Right! Hope!" Without even realizing her aura took another step forward almost rivaling great grandmasters but her realm remained.
In the same way, behind her, the golden glow slowly turned into a circular light, that seemed to exist and not exist. She had the charm of a domain almost taking form.
It was just that her arrogant behavior was almost like challenging the sea, and the half-step Deva creature couldn't just let this slide.
Perhaps to others, Wang Yue's current situation was not easy to gauge, but they could see what was taking place. To reach the Deva realm, one had to grasp the domain. In essence, a domain was just the next level after artistic Conception.
In essence at this stage, cultivation was more or less based on understanding rather than resources. In the artistic conception stage, some means might be used to speed up cultivation, but things were very different when it came to the domain. It was also the same reason people on Wang Lu's father's level had no intention of visiting the ruins.
The benefits they could gain from the ruins were negligible. As for the treasures present, and martial arts techniques, they couldn't be missing in any of this.
Most great grandmasters that had entered the ruins didn't come with the intent to break through in their realms, but rather to search for some treasures that would support their practice.
Just because some people have little to no interest in the things that could be obtained from the ruins didn't mean they were worthless.
In the great grandmaster realm, the possession of some unique weapon might have an ability to raise combat power.
If one could even gain a technique that would allow them to save their life, it could be considered a good thing.
But the large number of people that have entered the ruins are Grandmasters whose intention is to reach the great Grandmaster level.
The chances at the center of the ruins are not just beneficial to comprehending artistic conception faster, all the good things are located in that place.
But the most important thing about the ruins is the fact that one could challenge themselves in this environment. But only a few people were as crazy as Wang Yue. She dared to venture into the forbidden zones of the ruins and unleash her aura so domineeringly.
Back to Wang Yue:
The sea surface several hundred miles churned turning into a whirlpool that seemed to want to devour her. But with her current level of strength, she easily avoided it by taking a step forward. Unfortunately, the Half-step Deva creature couldn't just let her off.
By the term Half-step, one just implies the foundation of the creature was so strong its combat power had gone beyond its current realm. But in essence, it was still in that realm but had grasped some of the characteristics of the next realm.
With her slight insight into the domain, she might not be able to crush the creature under the sea, but fighting to improve herself was not a big deal.
With a wave of her hand, a golden glow appeared on her palm in the shape of a sphere, and it rotated, energy between heaven and earth was attracted. She then hurdled it towards the whirlpool and as it moved forward, the spare turned into a curved blade light, that expanded covering several miles and continued to devour energy as it expanded madly.
