"Saintess! Have you found a way to enter the Wang Family ancestral home? That is the only place that can help your current predicament! If you succeed, it would not be impossible to be welcomed back and even regain your saintess status!" The woman kneeling in the shadows kept speaking.
Suddenly the woman the balcony turned back and looked at the figure in the shadows before asking with a flat tone.
"Oh! Is that what you just made up yourself or something the sect agreed upon? You just called me Saintess! Then you went ahead to mention that I could regain this standing! Which one is it? I doubt that that is even possible right? " The words from Wang Lu's mother made the woman's heart skip a beat.
Indeed just as she had said, it was impossible to just change the Saintess of some great Sect without a good reason. Even though the sect the woman woman in the shadows was referring to had lost the status of a great Sect, the foundation was still there. What is even more important, was that the interests of factions in the sect were already tied together with the current Saintess. How could they agree to change just from a word by the sect master.
Realizing this, the figure in the shadows had an embarrassed expression, clearly she had messed up. But that didn't stop her.
She just took some while before composing herself again, " Everything aside, I think the Purity Sect has the best resources and even support to recover your strength or even go further. When it comes to benefits, I don't think anyone would block your path, after all contribution rewards are something that the sect handles strictly. As long as some elders are willing to make a move, it is not a problem for you to gain a nice status despite your situation. "
The figure in the shadows seemed just too confident when she spoke about the elders. Even the voice bad a bit of respect, something that didn't seem to affect Wang Lu's mother in the slightest. Or at least she couldn't see any ripple in her expression, it remained the same.
Being looked at by those dead eyes made the figure in the shadows uneasy, but she was slightly relieved seeing the woman didn't even seem to be interested in doing anything to her. She heard Qin Zhu finally speak, "I've been wondering how I ended up in such a situation seven years ago. It turns out all of this was the Purity Sect's plot. You sure are very interesting in everything you do even planning. "
Qin Zhu was the name of Wang Lu's mother, she is a member of the Purity Sect, and those that have practiced their techniques end up having white hair. She didn't have this because her her accomplishments in that aspect had been dispersed and she sealed herself, seeking a chance to be rebuilt. Someone however disrupted her plans and now she knew the culprit.
She might have had some good opinion of the Purity Sect, but not anymore. Had it not been the fact her mother left her in care of her old friend from the Purity Sect when young, she might have wanted to get revenge now.
Now that she could confirm that this was all her sect's doing, she didn't have any interest in associating with them in the future. She didn't care if she couldn't walk the same path again, it was incapable of taking her far anyway.
Even though she didn't have white hair, her eyes seemed to lack the emotions that normal people should.
The woman kneeling in the shadows too had white hair, and even more importantly, her eyes seemed to contain numerous emotions. Only this emotions are something even women couldn't avoid but get immersed in. But Qin Zhu looked at them without any change in expression.
Her demeanour made it hard for the woman kneeling to make any decisions or even bring up a deal. She just seemed too indifferent to everything, or at least the woman in the shadows couldn't see her expression when she looked at Wang Lu.
She even looked calm when the elders were brought up, it was though nothing was moving her in the slightest. It was only after hearing the sound of the child struggling to climb up the stairs did she regain some focus.
But the woman kneeling didn't seem to note any of this, "Saintess Qin Zhu! It is not the time to hesitate! You can't blame the elders for this, actually it was the best they could do judging by the situation. You had dispersed your cultivation and undergone the sealing process, among all the candidates, you should know why you are the perfect choice right?"
'Indeed! The only person in the Purity Sect without any foundation of the Purity Sect. Easy to dispose when convinient!' She thought to herself, before finally speaking up, "You should go now! I want to be left alone!"
She didn't continue talking, after all she could see that everything she said was just useless before her. A unique paper appeared on her arm and the next moment she vanished from the room, she could see that things weren't going well.
Looking at where she had vanished, Qin Zhu thought, "Transference Talisman! I see!"
She then stopped paying in any attention, rather she looked toward the entrance to the room she was in.
The sound of footsteps from a child was what got her attention. It seemed to be getting closer with each step that could be heard.
'Pa!.. Pa.!
Pa!...
...
The sound got the woman to regain some warmth in her dead eyes. She turned her head facing the direction the sounds were coming from not putting the words of the woman in the shadows to mind at all.

Abyssal World, Purity Continent, Ancestral Purity Tree.
A woman dressed in a white ancient gown, adorned with golden strips that formed words that could be ready as Purity Sect. Beside her, stood six figures and each had black gowns, each embeded with the same golden letters. Other than the woman's calm and indifferent eyes, the seven figures had worry clearly visible from their actions.
The woman locked at them, and sighed, before speaking, "What is there to worry about! The messanger hasn't come back yet, you should relax and wait for the news to came back."
The woman who spoke seemed to have some power that could affect others, after all the moment she spoke, everyone behind her calmed down. The worries in their hearts seemed to have vanished.
Everyone seemed to have calmed down, and one of them spoke calmly, "Sect master! Its not that we are worried, rather concerned that things might not go well on the other side."
The elder that spoke was standing close to some massive brach with white flowers.
"Right! I also agree with the second elder! I think that the background of that woman is a problem to begin with."
