Aaron sighed deeply upon hearing the bet, he stared at Lilly with a slight frown, then turned to Vince.
"When and where?" He asked.
"Hehehe, we have a place for training. As more than half of the Villagers are fighters, there is always a place for training." Vince said with a smirk.
"Do you understand what he's saying?" Protean whispered to Aaron, who just shook his head.
__
[Training ground.]
"Train harder!" The Chief yelled at the Soldiers in front of him.
"Dad."
He turned around seeing Emily, Aaron, Vince, Lilly and the two other kids walking towards him.
"What are you doing here, Emily? You have no training today."
"Aaron, You are finally back" Aurora who was in an Armor walked towards Aaron.
"Hi Mom, how are you doing?" Aaron asked with a smile.
Aurora squat down in front of him and gave him a big motherly hug. "I Missed you so much."
Aaron smiled slightly, and hugged her back. "Same here."
"I also missed you, Mom." Protean said.
"Me too." Aurora separated from the hug and tapped Protean's head with her index finger. "What are you guys doing here?" She asked.
"Well..." Aaron turned to Lilly.
"We made a bet! And we are here to compete." Vince said with a smirk.
Aurora turned to Lilly and sighed. "Lilly again?"
Aaron nodded.
"What is this bet all about?" The Chief walked up to them.
"Archery, Who get the best shot wins. Now that everyone is here, you all will be the judge..." Vince went ahead and explained everything to Chief Egon and Aurora.
The two looked at each other with a slight frown, the children except Aaron were worried they will refuse.
Aurora : "Fine by me."
Chief Egon: "I see no harm in it."
"Huh?" The five were stunned hearing them.
_
"What is happening here?" Rob asked entering the training ground, staring at Aaron and Vince who stood beside each other with bow in their hands, and Quivers on their backs.
"Those two kids are going to compete against each other, who is the Best at Archery." A soldier answered him.
"The Archer's Son Vince will win, He is the best in the Village after his father, even Emily won't be able to win him." Rob said, folding his hands in front of his chest.
"That's because Emily is an Assassin Class, Not an Archer Class like Vince... I just wonder if this kid is also an Archer Class, if not; he's going to lose." The man said.
"Let's see what will happen." Rob said.
_
"Ok you two, we'll start with 10 meters distance, Anyone who hit the red spot wins the bet." The Chief said to the two.
Aaron observed the target 10 meters away, the colors on it were Red, which was the smallest, then green, yellow, blue, black and orange.
'This is a piece of cake.' He thought.
"I'll go first." Vince took an Arrow and tucked it on his bow, then aimed at the target.
"Watch and learn country bumpkin." He said and released a shot.
Whoosh!
BAM!
The arrow struck the red spot!
"Nice shot!"
"I know he can do it!"
"Good work, Vince!"
"This kid is impressive."
"Nice."
Everyone turned to Aaron, who remove an Arrow and tucked it on his bow.
{All Seeing Eyes}
{Combat Mode Activated.}
{Success rate: 200%}
'Can a success rate get that high?' Aaron was stunned, he slowly looked around.
"What? Are you scared?" Vince asked with a Sneer.
Aaron scoffed and closed his eyes.
"What is this kid doing?"
"Shooting an Arrow with his eyes closed? Isn't that dangerous?"
"He's going to miss the target."
"Yeah."
Whoosh!
Aaron released the shot, then opened his eyes. Everyone watched as the arrow split Vince's Arrow in two halves, it penetrated the target and flew an extra 50 meters without losing its Momentum.
".....!!!!"
"Is that?"
"...."
"What just?!"
"This kid is also an Archer class?"
"Wow! Such Force in one Arrow."
"Hmm... There is no winner, we'll need to increase the target's range. Rob!"
"Yes Chief!" Rob moved forward.
"Set it to 40 meters."
"40–40–40 meters?" Rob was so stunned that he stammered.
"You heard me."
Rob nodded and quickly walked away to set a new target.
"Are you still up for it? 40 Meters is nothing to me, You were just lucky on the last one." Vince said, clearly looking down on Aaron.
"You dare let them set it to 100 meters?" Aaron challenged.
"100 meters?!" Vince was stunned in place.
"I guessed you are not that skilled." Aaron shook his head in dissatisfaction.
"Chief! Set it to 100 meters." Vince yelled.
"100 Meters?" The Chief was surprised.
"What is Vince doing?"
"I don't know, the highest he had gotten is 70 Meters."
Even his two friends were confused.
"Really? Vince. 100 meters is too little, I didn't know you are such a scared kitten, I thought you'll say 200 meters... Not copying me who said 100."
"What?" Vince was now dumbfounded. 'My highest is 70 meters, can I take 200? I'm not even sure with 100m. What if he's just bluffing?.' He thought and turned to the Chief again.
"I mean 200 meters!"
"What?!!" Now everyone was flabbergasted.
"Is this young man so good, shooting a target 200 meters away, I can't even achieve that feat."
"Yes, and the wind current is strong today, it won't be easy to hit it."
"It seems the Archer's son have increased his Realm or talent."
"You might be right."
"What is he doing?" Emily asked in confusion.
"My brother is the one doing it." Lilly said with a smile.
"The prince?" Emily was stunned.
"Even if it's 500 Meters, as long the target is still. My Master will knock it down." Protean, who stood on Lilly's shoulder said.
"Are you sure about this?" Chief Egon asked.
"Yes." Vince nodded.
"What about you my Pri... I mean Aaron?" The Chief turned to Aaron.
"He asked for it, if I refuse; he'll simply look down on me, And I can't let that happen." Aaron said with a smile.
"You are right." The Chief nodded with a satisfied smile. "Hey Rob!" He yelled at Rob.
"Set it to 200 meters!"
"What?!!" Rob was flabbergasted.
