[One week Later.]
[Flesh Eaters' Forest.]
[Day time.]
Aaron sat on a tree branch staring at his profile with a rare smile on his face.
{All Seeing Eyes.}
{Name: Aaron Lucian.}
{Realm: Awakened.}
{Class:None.}
{Race: Half Elf.}
{Strength: 165.}
{Agility: 100.}
{Defense: 170.}
{Endurance: 155.}
{Affinity Mastered: None.}
{Attack: 50. Critical - 100. Combat mode - 1,000.}
{Health point: 100.}
{Intellect/ Wisdom: 35.}
{Improvement: You are getting somewhere.}
{Resistance: Poison: 60%. Darkness: 10%. Death: 0%. Light: 0%. Fire: 20%. Water: 10%. Earth: 0%. Wind: 0%. Magic: 0%. Ice: 0%. Lightening: 0%.}
"At least it's better than last time, six months ago, actually." He turned his head to the rat standing beside him. "I need to get stronger than this, I can't let Lilly be ahead of me."
"What are you saying? You are just six months old, while she's fifteen... And your speed isn't slow but exceptionally fast, I don't even understand how you grew up so fast."
Aaron frowned and said. "Forget all that, it's time to increase my poison resistance to 100%."
"I told you, it can't be done. It took you one week to push it from 20% to 60%, for it to increase a percent; you don't need the poison from a rat. Can I take the form of another thing? This feels disgusting."
"You might be right." Aaron held his jaw with his thumb and index finger. "To increase my Poison resistance, I need a more powerful and deadly poison."
"Wait! Did you just say "More powerful and Deadly ones"?" Protean was stunned.
"Yes, but where can we find such poison?"
"Are you mad?!! That'll kill you! And if you die, I die!"
"Nothing will happen to me, If my Poison resistance reaches 100%, I'll be immune to all poisons. That will be a good boast." Aaron stood up.
"Why don't you go with other things, for example; The fire resistance?"
"That's also good, but this forest is filled with poison, getting this advantage will be both helpful and useful." He jumped down from the tree.
Protean turned into a Griffin, and flew down. Landing beside him.
"The rat is still useful, at most you can put anyone with weak poison resistance to sleep for 10 hours." He squat down and picked up a flower.
{All Seeing Eyes.}
{Name: Toxin sunflower. Class: Uncommon. Info: It could kill anyone with low poison resistance in matters of 2 minutes.}
He placed the flower in his mouth and slowly chewed it.
"You are disgusting." Protean announced, flying over his head.
"Mm - A-A man needs to do anything to grow stronger." Aaron said, while chewing the flower.
"Don't eat with your mouth full, didn't mom taught you that?"
"I'm still confused why you are calling my Mom, "MOM"."
"Because she is also my Mom."
{High amount of poison resistance.}
{Poison neutralized.}
{Poison resistance: 60%.}
"Still nothing." He sighed deeply.
"We are deeper in the forest than we have ever been. Master, we should head back with the 19 cores in your bag."
Aaron tapped the bag on his waist and heaved a sighed. "One More, let's make it 20."
"We have been in this forest for two days now, aren't you worried about them?"
"Of course I'm worried, but I know with Mom and her familiar, nothing will happen."
"Ok."
_
[Some Moments later.]
The two got deeper then they have ever ventured, heading to the end or start of the forest, Aaron couldn't tell.
Whoosh!!
The two swiftly moved their gazes around, Protean turned into the Skeleton, while Aaron removed an arrow from his quiver; tucking it on his bow.
"Who is this scoundrel that is playing around?" Protean asked, placing his Broadsword on his shoulder.
Whoosh!!
The figure was so fast that Aaron couldn't see it. He tucked the bow and closed his eyes, then listened.
BAM!
He swiftly turned around and released a shot towards the direction. A figure in a black cloak dodged the arrow in midair, and landed on the ground, 30 meters from the two.
"That creature doesn't look like a monster." Aaron muttered.
"Because I'm not a Monster."
"Huh?" Both Aaron and Protean were stunned speechless, hearing the figure speak, and it sounds like a... girl.
"Who are you?" Protean pointed his Broadsword at her.
"Her name is Emily, a Demon." Aaron revealed.
{All Seeing Eyes.}
{Name: Emily Egon.}
{Realm: Awakened Stage.}
{Class: Assassin.}
{Race: Demon.}
{Strength: 200.}
{Agility: 400.}
{Defense: 250.}
{Endurance: 500.}
{Affinity known: Wind.}
{Attack: 100. Critical - 200.}
{Health point: 300.}
{Improvement: Kill ten enemies. (6/10).}
'Her stats murdered mine with a huge gap.'
"How did you know my name?" Emily asked, removing the hood covering her head.
A young demoness with long red hair and eyes came to view. She fixed her gaze on Aaron, then looked up at the Skeleton. Her eyes flashed with surprise that only lasted for a second then asked:
"How did a kid made it this far?"
"Hey you, I'm not a kid! Can't you see we both have the same height?"
"Technically, You are still a kid."
"No one asked you." Aaron glared at Protean.
"I might look young, but you shouldn't underestimate me."
"Same here."
She stared at him for some moment then said. "You should go back to wherever you came from, I don't want to see you here again, or I'll have your head."
"I don't think so, if you want me to leave, come make me."
"It seems you aren't going back? Fine then, I won't get the blame for killing an arrogant human." The girl stared at him with killing intent.
"You made only one mistake, and that is; meeting me. And I'm not a human, but an elf." He tucked three arrows and pointed it at the demoness in front of him.
"Ok "Elf" I hope you won't die easily, because that'll be boring. " She drew out her dagger, and walked towards him.
"Stay back Protean, but don't let me die." Aaron said.
{All Seeing Eyes.}
{Combat - Mode activated.}
{Calculating success rate... Success Rate: 60%.}
Without hesitation, he released the three Arrows towards her.
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
Whoosh!!
"Huh?" Aaron was stunned staring at his arrows on the ground, in front of Emily's feet, all cut into halves. He looked up at her.
"Is that all?" She asked.
"If that's all, My turn." She covered her head with the hood and vanished into thin air, disappearing from view.
"What the?!" Aaron exclaimed out loud.
