Chapter 0: The Masters of the Game

In the infinite depths of the universe, two colossal entities stood face to face, their forms unfolding as cosmic mysteries and manifestations of immensity. Guardian, a luminous figure composed of sparkling stars and swirling nebulae, sat upon a throne made of starlight. Opposite him was Chaos, an ever-shifting entity, whose contours constantly morphed in a whirl of darkness and light.

Between them stretched a gigantic chessboard, the squares made of fragments of stars and shards of interstellar shadow. The pieces on the board were living manifestations of concepts and entities, each engaging in a complex gravitational dance.

Guardian gazed intently at the chessboard, his cosmic eyes focusing on a particular square, where a young man sat asleep at a desk in class. It was a scene from Earth, an ordinary classroom, but to Guardian, it represented a moment of crucial choice.

"Watch closely, Chaos," Guardian murmured, his voice like the whisper of stars. "This one, this young man… Léonard Dumont, shall be my champion among champions."

Guardian materialized a king piece, glowing with a silvery light. He placed it carefully on the board, on a strategic square, its light eclipsing the surrounding shadows.

Chaos watched the scene with a mocking smile, his eyes shifting colors as his amusement grew. "Oh really? This young man as your champion? Such a bold choice. I can't help but laugh at such a decision."

Chaos's form twisted and changed, a wave of shimmering darkness undulating around him. "Don't be surprised if your champion faces trials that even the stars cannot foresee."

Guardian's gaze remained fixed on the board, his thoughts focused on the young man. "Perhaps. But it is not brute strength that matters, but inner resolve and determination. Léonard Dumont will prove his worth."

Chaos let out a deep, resonant laugh, his amusement echoing across the cosmos. "Very well, Guardian. Let's see how your champion fares in this intricate dance. I look forward to watching him navigate the challenges I have in store for him."

Guardian offered no response beyond a determined and silent gaze, as he watched Léonard, still unaware of the destiny awaiting him. The game had begun, and every move on the chessboard would prove decisive in the grand scheme of things.

The young man's fate was now intertwined with the cosmic game, as the two entities continued to observe the board, eager to witness Guardian's champion take his first steps on the grand cosmic stage.
