The next day, the search parties were formed. Each team had around ten members, and we were to head to different parts of the forest in search of the commander and his soldiers.
Of course, the location wasn't entirely random. The queen knew where the commander was headed on his mission – the details of which I was still unclear about – so we were to search the areas he likely passed through.
Was there a chance the commander was in a completely different location? Of course, there always was, but it wasn't something we could be sure of, so the best course of action was to focus on what we knew.
We set off in the morning, and incredibly, all the elves were receptive to me. I didn't suffer any discrimination for not being an elf myself.
Moreover, they gave me one of their domesticated bears to ride, which was simply incredible.
