My eyes roamed the streets, no sound, no life. Only dead bodies as far as one could see.
And with all due respect, I should be one of those bodies, or I was.
My name is Katsuro Uchiha, the son of Fugaku's Uchiha's brother, both of whom were now dead.
And previously, I was from Earth, I knew little of my personality there. I had some details regarding the technology found on that planet, and basic information.
But as a perk of losing all those memories from my previous life, I had gained a perfect memory of the Naruto Verse, as if the Naruto Fandom had been printed into my mind.
Now, regarding my new self. Katsuro Uchiha, I was well, normal. Plainly and utterly normal.
I had an affinity for Fire Release, a large one at that, and furthermore a minor affinity for Earth Release.
I had an undeniable resemblance to that of Shisui, which had only been strengthened following his death, 4 months ago.
Katsuro, plainly, adored Shisui. And surprisingly, Shisui replicated that.
Itachi and Shisui were generally split from the social circles of the clan, seen as prodigies and unique clansmen, whom were beyond approach.
Itachi adored and doted on Sasuke, and Shisui did the same on me, which is why I had essentially copied his hairstyle, which was extremely easy as we had the same hair type.
Don't know if this is God doing his work or whatever, but we were extremely similar as well.
I had begun my training at 5, which was supervised by my Father and Shisui. My father took charge of my chakra training, and Fire Release, including the Great Fireball Jutsu.
Meanwhile, Shisui focused more on physical aspects. Sadly, due to my size, I could not engage in full-out body training, but Shisui taught me how to throw a kunai, shuriken, and a short-sword.
Which he also taught me how to use, of course.
5 months ago, we had also begun training with the Body-Flicker Jutsu, which Shisui was known for.
And then, it happened.
His death.
The news was brought to me by Itachi Uchiha, followed by his tanto, which was beautiful.
It had a white handle, with black circular stripes in between the white properties.
The tanto itself was supported by chakra metal, allowing the wielder to easily flow their chakra through the sword, increasing its cutting power.
One could also infuse it with certain elemental properties.
Additionally, he came with 2 scrolls.
Shisui's own Body Flicker notes and additional.
The Crow Summoning Contract.
Now, according to what Itachi told me, Shisui held the primary contract, while Itachi was introduced to the Crow Clan as an honorary wielder, allowing him to summon and utilize crows, but not as one of their contractors.
Itachi told me to hold off on putting myself on the contract till I became stronger.
However, ignoring that, I heard a scream coming from the Clan Head's house, likely Sasuke.
I was currently leaning against a building, a hand over my bloodied right side, a kunai lodged into it.
My eyes turned, as Itachi Uchiha walked out of the house.
His eyes stared into me, and my heart jumped.
Would he finish me off?
However, in my trance, I didn't realize everything became much clearer, and I spotted multiple new details.
Such as the slight tinge of water in Itachi's eyes.
But then, he disappeared.
For 10 minutes I sat there, wondering. Would he suddenly appear?
However, after 10 seconds I relaxed.
But I still noticed that my eyesight had improved, drastically so as well.
Perhaps I've awakened my Sharingan, was my thought.
And as such, I took the tanto from my back and angled it so that I could see my own eyes through the reflection.
And what greeted me was two eyes of pure red, but both of them had 2 noticeable circles.
A single round one in the middle, and two tomoe's surrounding it.
Ah, I guess I activated my 1st tomoe Sharingan when Shisui died; however, I guess Itachi didn't inform me, and I couldn't yet activate it at will, likely similar to Sasuke.
However, my eyes widened as I saw someone appear before me.
Holy shit, even with the two tomoe Sharingan, I didn't even see him.
He wore a dog-mask and had grey gravity-defying hair.
Only a dumbass wouldn't recognize him—Hatake Kakashi.
But then, I felt my energy leave me as my eyes slowly closed.
I guess adrenaline held me up.
…
My eyes slowly opened; all I saw was brightness.
It took a few seconds for me to get accustomed to it and sit up.
A doctor was inside, writing something down on a piece of paper till he saw me standing up.
"Oh! Good, you're awake. I'll inform the Third Hokage!" he exclaimed as he ran off.
I guess I'm inside the hospital; good thing I survived. Honestly doubted myself for a few seconds there.
Currently, if I go by my previous world's timeline, it's currently 8 aNb, After Nine Tails Battle.
Which means, Naruto and Sasuke's generation is or is becoming 8 years old, this year.
Meanwhile, I'm currently 11 years old, and I'm supposed to take my Genin Test in 11 days; today is the 22nd of July, or at least when the Massacre happened; don't know what day it is today.
While the Academy Graduation is on the 1st of August.
However, I was brought out of my musing by the infamous Third Hokage.
Even now, as I sat on my hospital bed, I could see that this guy was way beyond my strength. He could take me in 0.00001 seconds if he wished for it.
"Ah, Katsuro, I'm delighted to see you awake finally," Hiruzen said, and I smiled.
Sure, this old man had made many mistakes, but over 70% of them were likely influenced by Danzo or directly by him.
But my own opinion was that Hiruzen was a smart motherfucker. I can, without a doubt, say he's the reason war did not happen at all, except against Madara.
I didn't doubt that he worked the ANBU to their asses to do that.
"Thank you, Lord Hokage. May I ask, what day is it today?" I asked him. Now, deep down, I felt a bit depressed; the majority of my emotions came through my new vessel, which harbored many emotions regarding those who died today.
"Today is Friday, the 25th of July. And is there anything you request? You have, after all, lost your entire family," Hiruzen said with pity.
I sighed and looked at the roof before looking back, straight into Hiruzen's eyes.
"I saw my family die, killed. I was given mercy; he let me live. I sat there, leaning against the house, as he slaughtered children, families, civilians; then he went to Sasuke's house. I heard a scream, and then he came out. He looked at me.
No, that's an incorrect description—he looked past me. As if I was nothing. He did not consider me an opponent, not now, not anytime, but I will prove him wrong," I said with determination. My eyes were focused straight at Hiruzen's, and I could see he was surprised but also happy.
However, it was quickly replaced by a picture of a kind, caring grandfather.
Now, some of that was bullshit, but a lot of it was, in fact, true. I was determined to become someone; I would not be defeated like that again.
"That's good to hear. Now you need to relax; you have your Genin Exam in 8 days," Hiruzen said before I sighed.
"I assume, seeing your decision to come and visit me, that I am among the last survivors of the Uchiha Clan. How many survived?" I asked Hiruzen. He looked shocked at first, but his expression softened soon after.
"You are correct; only you and Sasuke Uchiha remain. Sasuke awoke a few days ago; it seems he only suffered from a Genjutsu," Hiruzen said, and I slowly stood up.
"May I go and visit him?" I asked Hiruzen, and he nodded.
"Hawk will lead you to his room," Hiruzen said as an ANBU appeared.
I nodded at him, and he began walking.
Sasuke was a few rooms between us.
Hawk disappeared as we reached the door, but I suspected a few ANBU guards stood around.
I opened the door and entered.
Inside, Sasuke lay with his clothes on, under the sheets, and staring into nothing.
However, his eyes turned to me as he saw me enter.
And even I, although without my Sharingan active, struggled to see him as he jumped at me, giving me a big hug.
He was 8 years old now, and I was 11. I stood at 5'86 inches, or 149 cm, while Sasuke was 4'7 inches tall, or 139 centimeters.
"It's so good to see you, cousin," Sasuke said as his head reached my chest.
I patted him on the head.
"It's good to see you as well, Sasuke," I said, and I heard Sasuke sniff a bit before stepping back.
"Let's sit down, Sasuke," I told him as I sat on the bed.
"So, it's only us left…" I said sadly, as Sasuke nodded, before anger flashed in his face and he began shaking.
I sighed at that and put my hand on his shoulder.
"So, I would suppose your goal is to kill Itachi?" I asked him, and he looked at me.
"Yes, he will die for what he did," Sasuke said before he spoke again.
"But how can you say his name so lightly!? He killed our clan, family," Sasuke said angrily, and I sighed.
"There's more to this than what meets the eye," I said, shocking him.
"You, Sasuke, were sheltered from it, but the tension between the villagers and the clan rose before the slaughter. My guess is that Itachi couldn't take the pressure from his father to be strong and lead the clan, and from the civilians who hated him," I told Sasuke, and he calmed down.
"But no matter, Itachi is downright evil. And he did not have the right to destroy our clan," I said, a bit of anger flashing through my face as well.
I never liked Itachi's moves throughout the series.
"So, you wish to avenge the clan?" I asked him, and he nodded.
"What about the clan, will you become its Clan Leader? It's in your blood," I said, which made Sasuke begin to think.
Now, the Konoha laws said one could not sit on the Konoha Council unless one was a Jounin or higher; however, upon registering as a ninja, anyone could become the technical Clan Leader, which meant access to funds and the properties.
We sat in silence for a few seconds until Sasuke did something that even shocked me—I wanted him to appoint me as regent so I could use the resources to improve my own training.
"I will make you the Clan Leader," Sasuke said, shocking me. This was visible on my face as well.
"You are obviously smarter, and you have better control over your emotions. And I can't be bothered with rebuilding something before I destroy its destructor," Sasuke reasoned, and I was deeply shocked.
Even I forgot how mature Sasuke is. Not only that, but he also showed the bubbling side of anger; his life's meaning was killing Itachi.
And I feared he would sacrifice himself totally, as before. Only the clan's future held him back a bit, but not anymore.
I sighed.
"Very well, I suggest you talk to Hiruzen about this. You can likely appoint me as the Clan Leader when I graduate," I said, and Sasuke nodded.
"Alright, well. The doctor said I can leave as my body recovered during my sleep; I'll need to train a bit to get back in shape," I told Sasuke as I stood up.
"Okay, see you later, Cousin," Sasuke said as I walked out.
I then headed straight for a training ground. Training ground 83 was the one I found.
A training ground with a few trees and a small water source.
Once I arrived, I began going through my memories, performing all the Jutsu I knew.
**General:**
- Clone Jutsu
- Transformation Jutsu
- Substitution Jutsu
- Body Flicker Technique
- Leaf Concentration Practice
**Fire Release:**
- D Rank - Fire Release: Fire Stream
- C Rank - Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu
- C Rank - Fire Release: Phoenix Fire Jutsu
- C Rank - Fire Release: Dragon Flame Jutsu
Of the three Academy Jutsu, my Substitution Jutsu was the best, and I could perform it with one hand-sign instead of the standard five.
The other two could be performed at the top of the class. Additionally, I knew all 12 hand seals by memory, and my speed in performing them was also exceptionally fast for an Academy student.
Lastly, I had learned the Uchiha Taijutsu and Kenjutsu style, both taught by Shisui and his own version of it.
The Uchiha Taijutsu style was originally designed to counter that of the Senju's heavy-hitting style and was thus built around speed and quick attacks and combos, focusing on ending the fight quickly, as the Senju had more stamina and were more durable.
The Kenjutsu followed the same principles but was also geared toward predicting the enemy's attack and countering it.
And with that, I began going through them.
