Damian's POV
I finally wanted to take everything seriously. To ask the right questions, that was why I had summoned the courage to come back home to my grandfather's house even after wanting to do this on my own, to find out who he was running from and why all of a sudden they were strangers in my life.
The keepers at home told me he was being attended to, his 'nurse' was helping him get back in shape, which made me cringe a lot, but I pretended to be totally fine with the new discovery while I sat patiently on the couch.
A few minutes passed by and I heard the tender taps of footsteps descending from the stairs, It was a different nurse compared to the last.
"Good day, Sir Sinclair," she said.
At this point I could finally agree to the obvious point that I must have been blind all this while I was blind. But my moment of self-awareness was at its peak, and I had to align my questions.
