Lisa's POV
Third and final day.
Everything felt in place…
My thoughts were aligned, my emotions were intact, 'I BELIEVE I CAN FLY! I BELIEVE I CAN TOUCH THE SKY'
That was exactly how I felt that very morning. Initially when I was told I would be partaking in a family get together, I had only thought about the flaws, the stress that came with pretense, and the fact that I would be meeting new people who wouldn't sympathize with my children even though we were not blood related.
I had expected them to point fingers at us, but money didn't, and truth be told I didn't feel like an outcast after all.
After a long while I could finally accept that maybe being around people was not so bad after all.
It was the third day, and the last day, mom wanted everyone to have breakfast together, at least she was kind enough to tell me what she had planned for the day.
