Chapter 134 - Chapter 134- I don’t need it

Sophia gradually strained, there are tears over the eyes flow down, she raised her hand to wipe away, and continued to swallow, very mechanical, without a little emotion.

If Capone could have stopped at this point, he would have grabbed her up and kissed her hard, then pressed her into the bed and really got inside her.

But he couldn't stop, even if it was just a mechanical movement, she was forcing out the wildest of his heats.

The final movement was quick, he reached deep and poured it all out at once, and almost simultaneously Sophia pushed him away with all her strength and ran to the side bathroom, slumping over the toilet and vomiting, faint and crushed, everything before her eyes was blurred and unreal, but surprisingly she didn't faint, she just nearly vomited up all her bile, her throat hurting like it was on fire.

She rinsed her mouth with cold water and slapped her face to make the fire-like temperature around her subside before she haphazardly pulled a towel around her body and walked out.

Capone greeted her and tried to hug her as she looked shaky as if she would fall over soon, the red flush on her face gone again, just a heartbreaking pallor.

Sophia, however, cringed and avoided him as if he were a flooding beast.

'Throwing up?' His tone was cold, 'If I disgust you so much, why are you still willing? Just for Cronus, you'd sacrifice this much for him?'

'I'm so tired, I want to rest ... What you said, make it count!'

"I'm so tired, I just want to rest... You have to keep your word!"

What he said was that as long as she proved she only liked him, she wouldn't make things difficult for Cronus and Diana—he had to keep his promise...

She only had the strength to say this much to him, pulling the blanket aside to lie down on the bed. It was almost summer, but her body was still cold, unable to warm up for a long time.

There was a slight aching sensation in her lower abdomen, and her limbs felt soft and limp like noodles. Her consciousness quickly drifted away, leaving no time for sadness.

Capone had never experienced the feeling of punching cotton. He wanted to humiliate her severely but couldn't bring himself to do it. The most frustrating part was that the girl didn't even care enough to listen to his words and had fallen asleep instead.

Was she this tired?

More tired than him?

"Before I'm done with you, you're not allowed to go anywhere. Stay here with me!" He finally threw out a harsh command, not caring whether she heard or not.

It was time to sever ties with the Ye family. He had never truly intended to fulfill the engagement. He wanted the shares, and Miss Ye wanted her freedom. Let each get what they needed.

Sophia slept for a very long time, from that night until the sun set the next day, almost a full day's sleep.

Lucy tried to call her for some pasta several times but didn't want to disturb her when she saw how deeply she was sleeping. It wasn't until Capone returned that she worriedly said, "Little Capone, what did you do to the girl again yesterday? She's slept all day today, hasn't even left her room, and didn't eat any pasta! Go check on her, at least make her eat something before she sleeps again!"

Capone was taken aback. She slept that long? Was something wrong with her health?

He quickly rushed to her room, but gently opened the door. The bed was slightly raised, her breathing steady, and he relaxed a little.

"Sophy?" He called out softly, but there was no response. She simply turned over and continued sleeping.

Capone pulled the blanket aside and lay down beside her, somewhat forcefully pulling her soft body into his arms, letting her rest her head on his arm. He gently patted her face. "Stop sleeping, get up and eat something."

Sophia struggled to open her eyes and glanced at him, her body stiff as she tried to move.

"Why are you sleeping so much? Were you really that tired yesterday?"

He suddenly felt a pang of regret. Yes, she had mentioned more than once that she was tired and wanted to rest. It was him who had deliberately worn her out, even making her throw up.

"Little lazybones, stop sleeping. If you're going to sleep, at least get up and eat something. You've missed several meals already!" His tone softened without him realizing it, and he moved closer, sharing his warmth with her.

"I don't want to eat..." Sophia responded, though she was already so hungry her stomach was practically touching her back. But with him there, she didn't want to get up.

"Are you feeling unwell? I'll take you to the hospital!"

Going to the hospital meant she might run into Diana and Cronus. Even if they didn't happen to cross paths, there was a chance she'd need to meet them anyway. But with her in this condition, Capone was genuinely worried. After all, she had just started to recover, and he didn't want her to get any worse.

"I don't want to go to the hospital!" As soon as she heard "hospital," Sophia shivered, fully awake now. She struggled to sit up. "I'll go out to eat!"

She forgot that when she fell asleep yesterday, she was wearing nothing. Now, as she moved, her entire body was exposed to Capone's eyes.

"Ah..." She instinctively let out a quiet gasp, pulling the blanket up to cover herself.

Capone grinned, pulling her into his arms. "What's there to be shy about in front of me? I saw and touched you just yesterday, and you even ate me..."

"Stop talking!" Sophia snapped, turning her head in irritation. "I'm hungry. Let me change first, then I'll eat pasta!"

Capone kissed her forehead, wanting to say something apologetic, but ultimately didn't. He didn't pressure her, giving her the time and space to change.

Sophia showered and changed, noticing a faint red mark on her underwear. Combined with the slight ache in her lower abdomen from last night, she thought her period might have arrived.

When was the last time? She tried to recall but couldn't remember the date. She never really paid attention to it.

"Come eat, you haven't eaten in a few meals. Lucy was worried your stomach might be upset, so she made you some porridge!"

He didn't like seeing her eating alone at that large table outside in the pasta hall, looking almost lonely. So he decided to bring everything in.

If she didn't want to eat by herself, he would feed her.

Sophia remained silent, picking up her bowl and utensils to eat.

She was truly starving, her appetite wide open. Not only did she finish the three small plates of food, but she also finished the chicken and yam in the soup bowl.

Capone watched her eat without much thought, assuming it was just from sleeping too long and being famished.

"If you're still hungry, there's more in the kitchen!"

"I'm full, I'm good!" she replied curtly.

It seemed like she didn't want to say another word. She lowered her gaze. "I'll go clean the dishes!"

Capone stopped her. "I'll do it!"

Sophia stared at his back, somewhat dazed. Was this the same man who exuded cruelty yesterday?

"I'll take you out for a walk!" He quickly turned back, holding the car keys.

"I don't want to go!" Sophia turned her back to him as she made the bed, coldly refusing.

Capone walked over and hugged her from behind. His broad chest enveloped her fragile form, and he pressed his cheek against hers. "Don't you feel stifled being cooped up in here all day? The weather is nice today. I'll take you for a drive!"

What he wanted to do was never up for her to refuse. In the end, Sophia found herself dragged by the wrist into the car.

It was a beautiful antique car, one she had never seen before—prettier than Roger's.

"Do you like it? If you do, I'll let you drive it from now on."

Actually, it had been bought just for her. Before he kidnapped her the first time, he had been observing her in secret.

Back then, she often drove an antique car around, her driving skills weren't great, but she was cautious. Occasionally, she'd scrape it, patting the scratch and talking to the car like a child. "I didn't mean it, are you hurt? I'm sorry, I'll take you to get repaired this weekend!"

He wasn't sure if it was at that moment he started caring about her.

He couldn't bring himself to think about it, didn't want to admit that he had felt a spark of infatuation so early on...

"I don't want it. I'm not good at driving, and... I don't need it now!"

Sophia rejected him outright. Recently, she had felt sluggish doing everything, even lazy when it came to making desserts. Driving was the last thing on her mind.

Besides, now that she was so trapped by Capone, she had little freedom. Wherever she went, someone was either picking her up or following her, so she didn't need to drive herself!

Capone seemed to understand her concerns. He didn't speak again, his gaze fixed ahead, his hand gently caressing the steering wheel.

Sophia rested her head against the car window, watching the blurry night outside.
