Chapter 128 - Cao Chun Is Strong And Fights In Chaos

The battlefield buzzed with tension.

On the opposite side, the Third Prince and Patriarch Chaoyang glared at Cao Chun, fury bubbling within them. His arrogance had sparked a fire they couldn't ignore. Facing two powerful adversaries, he had the audacity not to take them seriously!

"How dare you!" the Third Prince spat, demonic energy swirling violently around him, barely contained. His cold sneer twitched in barely suppressed rage. He had always been the one looking down on others—now, to be dismissed so casually was infuriating.

"Let's see if you're still laughing in a moment!" the Third Prince shouted, exchanging a quick glance with Patriarch Chaoyang. In unison, they launched a fierce attack, their combined might tearing through the air as they converged on Cao Chun.

Cao Chun grinned, his golden-backed saber gleaming with deadly light. "Bring it on!" he roared, as his blade unleashed a terrifying cross-shaped slash toward the two. The energy crackled, cutting through space itself.

Boom!

The clash sent shockwaves rippling through the area, but the result was not what Patriarch Chaoyang expected. His attack had been shredded like paper under the force of Cao Chun's sword. The razor-sharp energy slashed toward his face, and if it weren't for the Third Prince's quick intervention, he'd be dead on the spot.

"Hiss... this isn't right!" Patriarch Chaoyang's face paled, his confidence crumbling. He had severely underestimated Cao Chun.

The Third Prince, too, was taken aback by the overwhelming power, his demonic energy flickering in response. "We underestimated him!" he growled, his face darkening. "Use everything! No holding back!"

Chaoyang's heart sank. Wasn't he already giving his all? How was this even possible?

Ignoring the chaos in his companion's mind, the Third Prince began to chant a dark incantation. His body surged with vile energy, the demonic power swelling dangerously. Nearby, Chaoyang gritted his teeth and pulled out several forbidden pills, swallowing them without hesitation. Desperation pushed him forward—if he didn't give everything now, he wouldn't survive this battle.

"War!" The two of them rushed at Cao Chun once more, unleashing their full strength. But even against their combined might, Cao Chun fought with ease. He moved like an unstoppable force, cutting through their attacks and holding his ground. His voice echoed with cold disdain.

"Is that all you've got?"

With each exchange, the space around them cracked and shattered. Soon, the three fighters were dragged into the void, leaving the battlefield behind.

Below, the remaining warriors who had been frozen in place by the oppressive aura of the half-emperors finally began to move. For a moment, the silence broke, but just as quickly, a new threat arose.

"Jie Jie Jie..."

The men in black—demonic warriors under the Third Prince's command—licked their lips hungrily as they set their eyes on the remaining martial saints. Their predatory gazes were bloodthirsty, sending shivers down the spines of even the strongest among the crowd.

"D-do they plan to attack us?" one martial saint stammered, fear creeping into his voice as he felt the oppressive, wild gaze of the enemy upon him.

The truth was, those men in black had long surpassed ordinary martial saints. Their power, enhanced by the dark arts, made them beasts in human form. The warriors of Da Zhou were no match for their bloodlust.

Across the battlefield, Yuan Zuozong's cold voice rang out. "Kill them all!" He raised his hand, signaling the dragon cavalry to charge. There was no hesitation in his orders—every Da Zhou soldier needed to be eliminated. At the same time, the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry, the elite force under Orion's command, surged forward. Their sheer power and ruthlessness were unmatched.

As the battle below intensified, another fight was brewing between the true warriors.

Li Sandao stood beside Orion, his eyes locked on Hei Yi, the most dangerous of the demonic warriors. He drew his long blade, the steel gleaming with deadly purpose. "Let's see which is stronger—my sword, or your claws."

Hei Yi, eyes glowing red, let out a roar, his monstrous form launching forward to meet Li Sandao head-on.

The fight between them promised to be nothing short of catastrophic.

In the chaotic swirl of violence, the tide of war was shifting, and no one could predict who would emerge victorious from the ashes of battle.
