**Chapter 80**
The enthusiasm of young people seemed endless, as the temperature in the car continued to rise. The backseat cushions were firm and steady, providing just the right amount of support. The pheromones filled the air, swirling like ocean tides, wave after wave.
Although she could smell the pheromones, Pei Yujang was frustrated that she couldn't mark the Omega. This unfulfilled desire only heightened the tension.
Yu Zhiwan's eyes were misty, and soon she was rendered speechless by Pei Yujang's gentle yet urgent touches. With her body fully recovered, she had much more freedom than before. She awkwardly used her newly recovered knees, pressing them against Pei Yujang's waist.
The Omega's body was warm and soft, like a pool of water, evoking thoughts of divine nectar. The air, thick with pheromones, was sweet, with an indescribable scent that drew one into a bubbly abyss.
After an unknown amount of time, Pei Yujang shook her slightly sore fingers and wiped the remaining traces of dirt from her fingertips with a wet tissue. She then disposed of the used items in the car's trash bin.
The air freshener renewed the scent inside the car. The two didn't rush to leave; they waited until the fresh spray diluted the overly intense pheromone scent. Pei Yujang flexed her wrist, opened the car door, and carried Yu Zhiwan out.
Her coat, draped over Yu Zhiwan's shoulders, was a bit too large, covering her down to her thighs, concealing everything.
However, in reality, the surveillance here was connected directly to their homes, with the recordings only accessible there, ensuring complete privacy. The Omega wriggled in her arms, revealing a glimpse of her pale thigh. Pei Yujang quickly covered her up again.
The Omega lazily leaned against her shoulder, curling up smaller in her arms. Her long, curled eyelashes were damp with tears as Yu Zhiwan casually asked:
"Your place or mine?"
"Mine?" Pei Yujang blurted out, "It's more convenient."
In fact, the distance to either place was about the same; they could take the private elevator from the basement. The elevator was equipped with optional surveillance, and Pei Yujang had only installed it at the entrance, not inside the elevator itself.
Yu Zhiwan didn't initially understand what Pei Yujang meant by "convenient," until Pei Yujang opened the bedroom door and, with a red face, proudly retrieved a pink box from inside. Only then did the Omega realize her meaning.
Inside were various magic wands and lipsticks, along with some items Yu Zhiwan had never seen before.
The beauty's eyelids lifted slightly, and with a lazy demeanor, she adjusted the coat on her shoulder, calmly "scolding" her:
"Yujang, you've turned naughty."
Why hadn't she noticed before that Pei Yujang could be so quick to catch on?
Pei Yujang's response was a gentle kiss on her cheek.
On the day they gathered at the school, Jiang Wenxiu noticed that her two sisters seemed to have reconciled.
She could sense the previous tension between them, and now she could tell they were getting along much better.
Pei Yujang was dressed in casual clothing, with slightly loose cargo pants, a fitted white tank top underneath, and a high ponytail that made her look full of energy. Yu Zhiwan's hair was dyed chestnut brown, with a hint of light golden highlights hidden in her bangs, only noticeable upon close inspection.
The two weren't wearing matching outfits, but they looked perfectly suited for each other. Yu Zhiwan's long hair flowed gracefully, swaying gently in the wind, complementing her beautiful features. Her dress contrasted with Pei Yujang's cargo pants, and she carried a soft, natural charm. Together, they were the most striking pair among the parents.
Pei Yujang wore a mask, which she only removed after getting on the bus. At first, the high school students were too excited about the camp to notice anything, but they gradually realized something was different.
When they learned that Pei Yujang was the "Tower Hero," many students became ecstatic, and the teacher had to step in to maintain order, telling everyone to stay in their seats.
This camp was being held in the nearby city of Yaocheng. Yaocheng and Yicheng were part of the same continent, and it would take two and a half to three hours to drive there. The journey wasn't short, and some students already regretted not sitting closer to Pei Yujang.
Meanwhile, Jiang Wenxiu had cleverly secured a prime spot, sitting in front of Pei Yujang with a quiet girl. Pei Yujang and Yu Zhiwan didn't get carsick and weren't familiar with the high school students, so they chose the back row.
If the others wanted to talk to Pei Yujang and Yu Zhiwan, they had to go through Jiang Wenxiu.
Jiang Wenxiu was in high spirits, excitedly swinging her legs.
Today, she wasn't wearing her school uniform, but her outfit wasn't too flashy. She wore denim shorts, showing off her long, straight legs, unaffected by the autumn chill. She turned around, relaying a message from her classmates, asking if Pei Yujang could sign something for them.
Pei Yujang firmly refused, "I can take photos, but no autographs."
She was the marketing director at Yuerong, so how could she casually give out her signature? However, she had no problem with taking photos. After all, she wasn't really a celebrity.
Sitting in the back row, Pei Yujang, who rarely used her phone while in the car, casually observed the girl sitting next to Jiang Wenxiu.
She remembered Jiang Wenxiu mentioning that her crush was a straight-A student in the student council.
The girl had long, shiny black hair that fell softly, and her eyes were large and round, resembling a gentle, harmless little rabbit. She looked like she came from a completely different world than Jiang Wenxiu. Wearing glasses, she sat by the window, watching math problem explanations on her iPad, unlike the other students who were playing games.
The girl was wearing wired earphones, and Jiang Wenxiu, facing away from Pei Yujang and Yu Zhiwan, was chatting away. Pei Yujang gave her a typical parent look that said, "Look at how well-behaved others are," and then lost interest in talking to her.
Jiang Wenxiu, feeling a bit embarrassed, turned back around but accidentally tugged on the girl's earphone cord.
Wireless Bluetooth earphones were the trend now, so hardly anyone wore wired ones, but this girl did. When Jiang Wenxiu tried to untangle the cord, she only made it worse, until she finally caught the girl's attention.
When the girl removed her earphones, Pei Yujang was surprised to see Jiang Wenxiu blush and softly apologize, "Sorry."
The girl smiled, revealing shallow dimples, and lightly patted Jiang Wenxiu on the arm through her shirt as a playful "punishment." She also whispered, "Stop messing around."
Then, she went back to her studies.
Pei Yujang, who had never experienced school life, found their gentle yet flirtatious interaction quite endearing. Yu Zhiwan, unsure of what she was laughing at, glanced over at Pei Yujang, who then typed on her phone:
"Nothing, it's just surprising that Jiang Wenxiu could actually like someone."
Pei Yujang suddenly recalled something Yu Zhiwan had once told her: love can sometimes make people blind, but she also believed that a budding crush could change a person. Sometimes, no matter how much others say, it might just annoy the person, but when they meet someone they like, they can't help but want to show their best side.
When they got off the bus, Pei Yujang finally learned that the "little rabbit" girl was named Shen Jiayu.
The camp was on an island, so they had to transfer from the bus to a large ferry. The two-level ferry carried two classes of students who were chattering excitedly, watching the waterfowl circle around, flap their wings, and dive for fish.
The birds were incredibly fast at catching fish. In the blink of an eye, they would fold their wings, dive into the water, snatch up a small fish, and fly back up. The smaller ones would be eaten on the spot, while the larger ones were carried back to their nests to be enjoyed later.
Pei Yujang also spotted a few red-billed gulls, a migratory bird that began flying south in autumn. The continent where Yicheng was located wasn't considered the south, so by early autumn, many red-billed gulls had already migrated, but some remained, along with a few artificially bred ones, unfazed by the passing tourists.
She had come prepared, taking out the buns and small loaves of bread she had packed, distributing them to the children around her so they could feed the red-billed gulls.
Compared to the now-familiar Pei Yujang, most of the children's attention was focused on the red-billed gulls eagerly begging for food. Pei Yujang took one of the buns, handed the rest to Jiang Wenxiu to distribute, and led Yu Zhiwan to a quieter spot at the bow of the boat.
The ferry could easily accommodate two classes, with a capacity of 200 people, but only about 100 were on board. There were fewer red-billed gulls at the bow, as most birds chased the waves at the stern,
but it was peaceful.
Pei Yujang broke the bun in half and handed the other half to Yu Zhiwan:
"Here."
She often marveled at how Yu Zhiwan had such beautiful eyes, yet she was blind. When Yu Zhiwan's vision was restored, Pei Yujang felt genuinely happy for her.
There are so many beautiful things in the world; it would be a shame not to see them. She preferred that Yu Zhiwan rely on herself, be her own eyes, and experience the world directly.
Yu Zhiwan had never seen a red-billed gull in person, only in pictures. The cool lake breeze stirred her curiosity, and she eagerly stood at the railing, tossing bits of bun to the gulls.
A small piece of bun fell into the water, unnoticed by the gulls.
Undeterred, Yu Zhiwan tried several more times, throwing in all directions. She even managed to toss one onto her head, which a red-billed gull promptly swooped down to snatch, right in front of her face.
"Be careful!"
Pei Yujang cautioned, though she was confident she wouldn't let the sharp-beaked bird harm Yu Zhiwan, it was just a habitual reminder.
Yu Zhiwan, who had never participated in such activities before, fed all the bun crumbs in her hands. She turned to Pei Yujang, her eyes silently asking if she had any more.
Pei Yujang shook the remaining half bun and moved to hand it over. But suddenly, she remembered something a relationship coach had once told her. Although she later found that advice hadn't played a big role in her pursuit of Yu Zhiwan, it seemed to make sense now.
The coach had said that in a relationship, a little playfulness was essential, and it had to be done in stages. He had given detailed advice on how to increase interaction during the early stages when you're not too familiar, how to build intimacy during the ambiguous stage, and how to maintain that passion once you're together.
Since they were now in the passionate stage of their relationship, there was no need to maintain the heat. But thinking of this, Pei Yujang felt a subtle urge. She discreetly glanced at the students, confirming that no one was paying attention to them, then slightly lowered her head and pointed to her cheek.
"If you want the bun, you'll have to give me something in return, right?"
She intended for Yu Zhiwan to give her a quick peck on the cheek, something light and easy. But Yu Zhiwan immediately wrapped her arms around her neck and kissed her.
Her soft lips met Pei Yujang's, and Pei Yujang could taste the sweetness of her pheromones. She instinctively deepened the kiss, pressing against the railing as their lips locked, her ears burning.
But soon, Pei Yujang realized this wasn't the right place and reluctantly released Yu Zhiwan. She could feel the Omega's heavy breathing in her arms.
That was close; she had almost become the kind of person she despised.
Pei Yujang had always disliked those who were so wrapped up in their love that they couldn't keep their hands off each other in public, oblivious to the stares around them. It wasn't jealousy, just exasperation.
But there were a bunch of high school students nearby!
Feeling guilty, Pei Yujang touched her lips. Both she and Yu Zhiwan had put on light makeup, but their lipstick colors were different. She could tell her lipstick had smeared, not from applying it poorly, but from the kiss. Fortunately, she had a small mirror to touch it up.
Yu Zhiwan nonchalantly extended her hand:
"What about the bun?"
Pei Yujang, who was about to take out the small mirror to touch up her makeup, was reminded by Yu Zhiwan's question. Only then did she realize that the bun had somehow disappeared.
Who keeps holding onto a bun while kissing?
Strangely enough, she had no idea where the bun had gone. After thinking about it, the only plausible explanation was that it had accidentally been kicked into the water during their moment of passion.
The consequence of breaking her promise was that Yu Zhiwan decisively left her to join Jiang Wenxiu and the other students in feeding the waterbirds. Pei Yujang wandered around, noticing that Yu Zhiwan wasn't faring well against the enthusiastic high schoolers. After some thought, she took out a selfie stick from her bag and pretended to take selfies a short distance away.
Someone quickly noticed her, letting out a squeal before running over:
"Yujiang Jie, can I take a picture with you?"
"I want one too! I want one too!"
More and more students came to ask for photos. Pei Yujang adjusted the angle of the selfie stick to fit everyone in the frame. As the crowd grew, the scene at the top of the boat turned rather amusing.
Pei Yujang was surrounded by high school students, while Yu Zhiwan was encircled by waterbirds. Meanwhile, the two homeroom teachers stood on the sidelines, glancing at each other helplessly, unable to squeeze into the fray.
"They're going wild," Jiang Wenxiu's homeroom teacher shook her head at the teacher from the other class. "And this is just their junior year."
