Senja, or what he would have been known as Adam was walking through the streets as he observed his semi-unfamiliar surroundings to get used to it as he headed towards his new home.
His transmigration had already been for a few hours, in that time, he has already begun getting used to his new body.
Adam passively recalled the memories of the previous owner's life as he walked, "Viewing this memories, the previous 'me' are quite lame. Like, his appearance is that of a top tier models, hell, I could confidently say that he is far more handsome but he somehow doesn't have any friends… his personality is probably the problem, he was timid, naive and a pushover," He paused his monologue for a moment, "Well, one thing we had in common, that is, when our parents died, everything turned out for the worst." He muttered as he simply sighed at the thought.
"Is this the house?" Adam muttered as he consciously compared the house to the one he saw in the memory, "Not bad, not bad." He mutters before entering the house.
As he entered the house, he would go on to have a long shower before he dressed up in a casual outfit before sitting on the couch in the living room and turning the TV on.
As he was watching the news, his mind began to continue wandering through the memories, and after a few moments he found an interesting discovery… it was a memory of three instances of the original owner of the body using some kind of supernatural ability.
'What was that? Can I do that?'
His mind was clouded with questions and his curiosity continue to intensify until he decided to try it out.
'Well, nothing will happen if I don't take the first step.' He goes through the memories once again as he tried to recall the feeling in that moment, the warmth, the brightness, everything.
Soon, a clutter of light escaped and condensed above Adam's palm, it was pretty bright but not blinding so Adam's eyes could see the source of the light… it seemed to be a card.
The card was seen floating above his palm, after a few short seconds, the light dimmed before completely disappearing leaving a yellow card floating above his palm.
"Heist?" He muttered in amazement at the sight, "Is this the ability he used? Sick." He added as the card was absorbed into his body again.
From the memories he has gotten, 'Heist' is an ability that allow the user to 'steal' any abilities. Unfortunately, the previous owner of the body had never used it much because he was too much of a coward… not blaming him though, not everyone is crazy enough but like this ability is such a waste on his hand. The ability also has a handful of extra features that were also left unused by the original Adam.
The instance of the original Adam using the ability was to keep his mom and dad… his currently dead parents (thank god, that's quite a convenience) abilities as a memorial and the third instance is when he stole a dying friend's ability as he wished for it to be used wisely.
This 'friend' is a mutant yeti monster that gained sentience and a high level intelligence, it developed an attachment towards humanity and loved it but it was hated and hunted by them except Adam who was the only human that ever befriended the monster. Unfortunately, those peaceful times never lasted as Adam's hideout was discovered by a hero and he found his friend dying with a wide hole on his chest.
Both of this event took a toll on him, he grows up to be a loner with an almost nonexistent self-confidence, he has no courage, self-respect or even any discipline… but now that Senja has taken over as the new Adam, everything will change for the better as the insanity surrounding him will continue to rise!
After the short flashback, Adam could be seen taking a dump as he inspected the three abilities 'he' plundered in the past.
[ E-ranked Ability Card
Name: Willpower
Description: This ability will give the user an empowered willpower slightly stronger than the average human
Evaluation: Trash, if you can't bring yourself to even move then this ability might have a use. This is your mother's ability, keep it as a memorial. ]
[ D-ranked Ability Card
Name: Fit In
Description: This ability will let the user to fit into a crowd of people and become undetected
Evaluation: Not bad, this ability are useful in a crowded place for the purpose of escape. This is your father's ability, keep it as a memorial. ]
[ C-ranked Ability Card
Name: Cold Resistance
Description: This ability will grant you higher resistance towards ice elements of C-rank and above while being immune to D-rank and lower.
Evaluation: Great, an ice attributed enemy will not stand a chance against your might with this ability. A former friend's ability, use it wisely. ]
After skimming through the abilities, Adam muttered, "Not bad, not bad, good abilities, so what's my goal from this point onwards? Keep getting stronger? Nah, I think that's slightly too bland, I need something that has a challenge and being super duper strong is just a side effect…"
Suddenly an idea popped into his head, "What about the creation of a super strong secret organization? That sounds fun, 'Heist' will be one of my greatest assets in the future as I will become nigh-unstoppable at one point in the future if I continue plundering abilities… but how? It will be quite a hassle to recruit people…" He sighed.
Adam fell silent as his mind raced to think of a solution but then a brilliance struck him.
A smirk formed on his face, "Do I even need the other people just to 'create' my organization? My ability can make me stronger and have much more variety in power than anyone hence I can create multiple alter ego to run the organization! Hold on, this idea seems familiar… where have I read it before? Whatever, I don't really think that will be too important anyway."
Adam reminisced at the time he used to fill his free time with playing games, reading books, watching tv shows and movies etc. He was such an escapist, that time was an enjoyable but harmful experience, he returned to the present time.
"Now let's get back to business, two out of three of the abilities I had stolen were not really useful in combat, I only have a defensive ability that only works on ice ability and zero offensive capability. Not only that, I don't possess any necessary combat skills or experience like martial arts and in my past life I rarely get into a fight as it was honestly quite bothersome." He muttered.
"This is going to be fairly tough…" Adam muttered as he tried to come into a solution to his problem, "Well, let's think about this later, I can gather experience and skills another time but I need more abilities, where is the place with the most abilities for me to steal? Weapon shop? No, I might get sued for property damage. Adoption Center? The idea of touching kids are not good. Stealing strangers ability? I don't think that will work. Museum? Probably, does my ability even works on corpses? Let alone an ancient one… who knows?" He shrugged.
Adam goes around the house to gather some unused clothes and put all of them in a backpack. Afterwards, he left the house for his ability hunting mission.

He has finally arrived at the museum, Adam was informed from the memories that the museum housed thousands or more dangerous monsters corpses that he might able to plunder their abilities for.
'I wonder what type of abilities might I gain in today's stunt?'
He entered the museum, he had grabbed a map of the whole museum and walked towards the monsters corpses were placed, he slowly strolled passed many fearsome figure, he remembered them from the history books in the original Adam's memories.
He saw the biggest one in front of him, there was a sign, written on it was 'Divine Tyrant', before him inside the glass fences was a corpse of one of its children, this creature was considered to be the most dangerous monster known by mankind, "Crazy and to think this is only the size of a child… they sure are gigantic…" He stared at the 20 meters corpse in front of him with fascination decorating his face, when he was young he used to have a fanaticism towards dinosaurs and still haven't completely left the phase.
His eyes look around his surroundings, there was no security guards in sight and nobody seemed to pay attention to him, he swiftly jumped over the fence and approached the corpse.
His hand land upon the beast fortified exoskeleton, "This 'armour' are pretty rough and durable," His muttered, 'How did they used to kill this creature?' He thought before snapping back to reality.
"That's not important, let's get back to business." He muttered before he activated Heist.
Two cards escaped the corpse, both shine in white and blue respectively.

Name: Energy Knife
Description: This ability allow the user to conjure multiple knife made out of transparent blue energy that can cut objects slightly easier than an ordinary knife. Knife slot: 0/10.
Evaluation: Through the merciless passage of time, the ability has been corroded leaving an almost empty husk that hold within itself a past glorious weapon of destruction, this ability might return into its former identity once it has reached the necessary rank. You're too slow, it's better to quicken the pace. ]
[ C-ranked Ability Card
Name: Armoured Exoskeleton
Description: Create an armour of exoskeleton that can protect the user from physical damage, exoskeleton will be passively regenerated
Evaluation: A great defensive ability, capable of defending from various threats involving physical harm. One of the beast main defensive attributes. ]
"Shit, if I want to collect abilities from these corpses, I'll need to be faster or else all of them will corrode!" Adam quietly muttered as he jumped over the fence and continued his journey.
He sneakily moved through the museum and stole as much abilities as he was capable of before getting caught.
Soon, he finally left the building with a satisfied expression as he had struck multiple treasures for today's hunt.
"From today's onwards, I'm not going to let myself lag behind the world, I will rise above everything and become the peak of power!" He vowed to himself under his breath as he with a newfound confidence walked towards his home.
