Eva was sitting on the couch in her apartment, staring out the window. She was lost in thought, wondering what the future held for her. She had barely eaten as revenge was her main priority. She wanted to get even with the people who had caused her and her mother so much pain and sorrow. She'd make them pay all of them, she just had to find a way, the perfect plan.Eva was in need of an ally to assist her in exacting revenge on those who had wronged her and her mother. Sebastian was an ideal candidate for this role. Eva planned to visit Sebastian at the Xinrui Group that day.*************In the Xinrui group,"Mr Xin, a lady by name Ms. Eva is here to see you, Mr. Xin. She is a very persistent young lady. What does she want here?? I don't know why she came back, but I'm curious about what she's up to. He disconnected the call and tossed the phone onto the desk. Standing up, he stretched and walked over to the window. Outside, it was a beautiful day, and he longed to be out enjoying the sunshine. But his boss had given him a job to do, and he knew better than to disobey. With a sigh, he turned away from the window and walked back to his desk. Sebastian had just sat down when there was a knock at the door. Eva entered the office, her long, black hair cascading down her back. She was wearing a black, flowing dress that stopped above her knee. She had applied light makeup and looked very plain but beautiful. She stood in a corner, awaiting Sebastian's invitation to sit. Eva was nervous, but she was determined to make a good impression."Good morning, Mr. Xin." Eva spoke in a calm voice, but the sweat on her palms betrayed her nervousness. "What do you want? The money wasn't enough? Even vain women would be contented with that amount." Sebastian said his tone tinged with sarcasm. Feeling insulted Eva replied calmly, her voice tranquil as water."Mr. Xin, I believe I made my point across the last time we met??However, In contrast to what you said, I am here to return the money you gave me and asking for a favor in return." Eva replied with a pause. Sebastian paused as he looked up at the curvaceous yet feisty woman that stood before him."Sit down, Ms. Eva, You have 20 mins." Sebastian said nonchalantly. "I appreciate your kindness, I won't take much of your time." Eva spokeSebastian hummed in compliance as he waited for what else she would say. When Eva noticed his silence she continued."I have nothing much to propose, however I want you to marry me." Eva said almost choking on her own words."What's in for me?? And why the sudden request?? What do I get in turn." Sebastian replied with a straight face as though she hadn't said anything about marriage.At his response, Eva placed a file on his worktop."There's everything you need to know." Eva replied "What makes you think that I'll concede to your request??" Sebastian replied with amusement in his tone, he watched the lady intrigued by what she'd do next."Everyone know that for you to inherit the Xinrui group you need to have a fiancée, I'll fill in that space for you, for as long as you need and then we can have a divorce after the two end of the deals are fufilled." Eva said with a business inclined toneSebastian gritted his teeth in anger, he was at the receiving end of the deal, this woman came here prepared, she had touched his weak point. The deal was tempting as it was risky he didn't know her ulterior motive, however he had relatives who were more than willing to take over the group with open arms. "My secretary will get back to you by this time tomorrow." Sebastian replied uneasily"I anticipate a positive reply from you Mr. Xin, I'll take my leave now." Eva said with a calm smile knowing she had made a good impression, she walked out of the office elegantly. Sebastian on the other end lit up a cigarette, contemplating on what she said.
