"Nine Souls Jade..."
Ning Fan murmured to himself, his voice inaudible to anyone but him.
He aimlessly wandered the streets until he reached the largest entertainment club in the downtown area.
Looking at the club with its flashing lights, Ning Fan wanted to numb himself; he hadn't gotten drunk at Lan Kexin's place.
But once there, Ning Fan decided to get thoroughly drunk; after all, alcohol was the best thing for numbing the senses.
In the noisy club, men and women in the dance floor moved frenetically to the music, adrenaline surging, while at the bar, Ning Fan held a glass in solitary, drinking alone, appearing somewhat lonely.
"Hey handsome, how are you?"
Just as Ning Fan was downing his drink, a leggy woman took the seat next to him.
There was a worldly air about the beauty that seemed intentionally crafted, her flamboyant red lips particularly striking. She shifted her perky bottom, inched closer to Ning Fan, and placed her slender hand on his body.
"Drinking alone?"
