The next evening, East City Coast.
East City Coast was eerily silent, so silent that it was terrifying. The only sound to be heard was the crashing of the waves on the shore, with not a single person in sight.
Ning Fan arrived at the scene, listening to the waves hitting the beach, silently standing in the pitch-black night.
After tossing away his cigarette butt, Ning Fan dialed the Rain Emperor's number.
"I'm here. Where are you?"
"Where's the Nine Souls Jade?"
"On me."
"Good."
The call was quickly disconnected, and out of the darkness emerged a person, the Rain Emperor himself.
Upon seeing Ning Fan, the Rain Emperor smiled and said, "Lord Asura, you are quite punctual. I like the ambiance of this beach, serene and quite suitable for making deals."
"Are you the Rain Emperor?" Ning Fan asked coldly, with narrowed eyes.
Because he had never seen the true appearance of the Rain Emperor, he didn't know if the person before him was really who he claimed to be.
