His veins buzzed faintly, as if tiny sparks of electricity were traveling through them. The sensation was strange yet exhilarating, a mix of warmth and a sharp, prickling chill. His muscles tensed, vibrating with the power that surged within him.
Taking a deep breath, he lunged forward, thrusting the spear. A faint spark of lightning flickered at the blade's tip. Karn felt a surge of energy flow through him, and he pushed harder.
"BOOM!"
A small bolt of lightning shot out, striking the practice dummy across the room. The dummy smoked lightly, showing the power of the strike. Karn stumbled back, panting heavily.
"That… was amazing," he said to himself, staring at the spear.
Encouraged, he thought about trying the second technique, Cobra's Coil. He twirled the spear, trying to follow the instructions he had seen in his mind. But his arms felt heavy, and his energy drained quickly.
