Chapter 15 Life of Wilderness

As the dust settled, Duryodhana, still recovering from the earlier blow, managed to stand up, a mix of pain and gratitude on his face. "Thanks, Karn. That was close."

Karn nodded, his eyes still focused on the now defeated horned horse. "We need to work on our coordination. We can't afford mistakes like that in the wilderness."

Meanwhile Duryodhan takes a healing pill of tier 2 low grade basil pill, it is made up of basil herbs and several sub herbs to concoct it. It is mainly use for healing the body damage and increasing energy.

Mrityunjay added, "Agreed. This was a wake-up call. We cannot rely solely on individual strength. Teamwork is crucial out here."

Divyanshi, her expression thoughtful, said, "I should have communicated my hypnosis spell. It clashed with your thunder strike, Karn. I'll be more careful next time."

Karn appreciated their humility and determination to improve. "Let's consider this a lesson. The wilderness is unpredictable, and our success depends on how well we work together. Now, let us gather resources from the horned horse. Its horn is valuable, and its meat can be used for provisions."

As they collected the necessary materials, Karn could not help but feel a sense of fulfillment. The wilderness was indeed a harsh teacher, but it offered unparalleled opportunities for growth.

After that they found that they reach the end of the day,

Karn said "okay today we will camp here and rest it"

"ok" all of them replied.

Karn meticulously said "Okay Duryodhan you come with me we will go for hunting food"

"And Mrityunjay you go for collecting woods for fire"

"And Divyanshi you go for collecting fruits and berries which are edible"

After distributing task to all, they all go their own way.

Karn and Duryodhana ventured deeper into the wilderness, their senses sharp, and their eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of potential prey. The air was filled with the earthy scent of the forest, and the distant sounds of wildlife added a layer of tranquility to the atmosphere.

As they moved silently through the dense foliage, Karn spotted movement ahead. He signaled Duryodhana to crouch, and they carefully approached their prey – a group of wild rabbits grazing peacefully.

Karn whispered, "We need to be swift and precise. On the count of three, we strike together. Ready?"

Duryodhana grinned, his confidence returning. "Ready."

"One... two... three!"

In a synchronized move, Karn summoned a quick burst of thunder to disorient the rabbits, while Duryodhana, swift as the wind, captured one with his bare hands. The successful hunt added fresh meat to their provisions.

Meanwhile, Mrityunjay diligently gathered dry branches and twigs for the campfire. He carefully selected woods that would burn well and provide enough warmth during the night.

Divyanshi, on the other hand, moved gracefully through the forest, expertly identifying edible fruits and berries. Her mystical senses allowed her to discern which ones were safe for consumption. She carefully collected a variety of them, ensuring a diverse and nutritious supply.

As the trio returned to the campsite, each carrying the fruits of their efforts, Karn smiled at the successful teamwork.

"Well done, everyone. Now, let us prepare a meal and rest for the night. Tomorrow brings new challenges, and we need to be at our best."

They gathered around the campfire, the flickering flames casting a warm glow on their faces. Sharing stories and laughter, they enjoyed the simple pleasures of the wilderness.

The night sky unfolded above them, a canvas of stars that seemed to whisper secrets of the mystical realm.

As the fire crackled and the night embraced them, they drifted into their sleeping bag and get into their peaceful sleep, ready to face whatever mysteries the wilderness had in store for them on the morrow.

Next day,

The sound of birds chirping and wild beast roaring sound and bustling of plants and trees woke four of them.

Karn wake up lazily and said "is it morning already"

Duryodhan near him also woke up and lazily said "yeah it is morning already"

"Fuck why does night is always a small, when I am going to get sufficient sleep or not" Karn get little bit irritate, seeing his funny face all three of them laugh.

Then Mrityunjay said "ok that's enough"

"Karn wake up let's freshen up and have a breakfast, we have a long journey to attend"

Seeing that Divyanshi and Mrityunjay has already woke up and get freshen already. He and Duryodhan also woke up get move towards the side of river to freshen up.

Meanwhile other side, Mrityunjay said "Let's collect some food and firewood for breakfast"

Divyanshi replied "ok, I will collect food and fruits"

"Ok I will collect firewood"

As Karn and Duryodhana finished freshening up by the river, they joined Mrityunjay and Divyanshi at the campsite. The morning sun painted the wilderness in hues of gold, casting a warm glow on the group.

Mrityunjay had already gathered some firewood, and Divyanshi returned with a bundle of edible fruits. The group set to work preparing a simple yet hearty breakfast.

Divyanshi, with her mystical abilities, conjured a small flame to start the fire. Duryodhana, eager to contribute, offered his assistance. "Need help with anything, Divyanshi?"

She smiled, appreciating the gesture. "Sure, you can help me arrange the fruits for roasting. We'll have a mix of both fresh and roasted fruits for breakfast."

As the fire crackled and the aroma of roasting fruits filled the air, Karn and Mrityunjay returned from a successful morning hunt. Karn carried a couple of rabbits, and Mrityunjay had a collection of fresh herbs he had found.

Karn looked at the roasted fruits and grinned, "Divyanshi, you've truly added a touch of magic to our breakfast."

She bowed playfully, "Just a little trick I picked up. Now let us prepare the rabbits. Mrityunjay, can you help with the herbs?"

Mrityunjay nodded, appreciating the diverse skills each of them brought to the table. "Of course, let's make a flavorful dish."

As they worked together to prepare the meal, the camaraderie among the group became more evident. They shared stories of their experiences, discussed their observations of the wilderness, and even exchanged a few laughs.

The breakfast spread was laid out, featuring roasted fruits, a savory rabbit dish seasoned with Mrityunjay's herbs, and some fresh berries Divyanshi had collected. They sat around the makeshift dining area, enjoying the fruits of their labor.

Duryodhana, savoring a bite of roasted rabbit, exclaimed, "This is amazing! Who knew we could cook up such a feast in the wilderness?"

Karn chuckled, "Well, with a team like ours, anything is possible. Now, let us eat up and gear up."

With breakfast concluded and their spirits high, Karn and his companions packed up the campsite. The wilderness, with its unpredictable wonders, awaited their exploration loomed on the horizon.
