Chapter 246: stealing the troll while Harry fights Voldemort
The next room is Professor McGonagall's, and has a large chessboard, for a game of Wizard's Chess.
The only way across a large chamber with a chess board for a floor is to play across using massive chess pieces in a massive chess board.
Ron, the chess expert of the trio, takes the place of a knight and directs the game.
He eventually realizes that the only way for Harry and Hermione to progress is to sacrifice his life.
He allows the White Queen to smash him with her stone fist and the others reluctantly leave him behind as they go on after Quirrell.
Harry and Hermione continue to the next room, Professor Quirrell's, where they find an unconscious troll laying on the floor.
Hermione's eyes glowed looking at the big troll and its monster cock.
She did not directly take the troll now.
She would do that later.
Lastly, they enter Professor Snape's room and find seven potions in bottles along with a roll of paper giving clues on which one to drink to continue, noting that three bottles have poison, two have nettle wine, one will send the drinker back, and the other will let the drinker move forward into the next room.
Hermione tells Harry that it is a test of logic and not magic wherein most wizards fail.
Hermione works out the logic of the puzzle, which she says is an excellent form of defense, since many powerful wizards have no sense of logic.
She figured out which potion bottle she needed to drink to go back safely through the purple flames and warn Dumbledore and which one Harry needed to drink to safely walk forward through the black flames to face whatever was in the chamber of the Philosopher's Stone.
Going on alone from the potions room, Harry finds Professor Quirrell and the Mirror of Erised in the next chamber.
Harry is shocked to find that Quirrell and not Snape have been trying to kill him and get the Philosopher's Stone.
Hermione on the other hand returned back to the troll room smelling the strong stench from the troll.
Strangely she was excited because of this unbearable stench.
She suddenly thought.
"No wonder that all those Elven women looked so excited when they are fucked by these trolls.
There is a strange relation or pheromone that would make women excited even though there is a strong stench.
Unfortunately I cannot take this troll alive."
She was sad that she could not take this troll alive and decided that she would find the village of these trolls and conquer them in the future as personal guards and playmates.
But for now she killed the troll buy cutting at the back of its neck and then sent it into the space expansion bag.
Then she went out of this place and went to the second floor where the ghost bathroom is.
She place the storage bag there and then went to call in Dumbledore.
Back in the secret room, Harry, astonished, hears Quirrell tell him that, next to Snape, no one would expect him to try to steal the Stone and that Snape was actually protecting Harry.
Harry notices the Mirror of Erised, and Quirrell stops to examine it, saying it is the key to getting the Stone.
To distract him from the Mirror, Harry questions Quirrell, who says he is serving Lord Voldemort and although Snape hated Harry because of his father, he never wanted Harry dead.
He explains how Snape and Harry's father went to school together when they were younger, and how it was there where their hatred against each other started.
Quirrell asks for help from his master to get the Stone, and a snake-like voice tells him to use the boy.
Harry is told to look into the Mirror.
He sees his reflection pull the Stone out of his pocket and put it back in, and Harry feels it drop into his own pocket.
He tells Quirrell that he sees himself shaking hands with Dumbledore, after winning the House Cup for Gryffindor.
The snake-like voice tells Quirrell Harry is lying and Quirrell takes his turban off to show Harry what lies on the back of his head.
As Quirrell turns around, Harry is shocked to see another face where the back of Quirrell's head should be.
The face has red eyes and a snake-like slit where the nose should be.
Harry realizes this is the face of Voldemort and Voldemort demands Harry give him the Stone.
Harry refuses and runs, but Quirrell seizes him.
However, the contact with Harry's skin burns Quirrell and causes him to have boils all over the area in which Harry touched him.
Harry grabs Quirrell's face, then his arm, and holds on, with the blinding pain in his head building, until he feels the arm wrenched away before he blacks out.
At that time Hermione brought Dumbledore and other professors.
She first recovered Ron that was in the chess room and then Dumbledore went to recover Harry.
At that time she is the only one that is fine.
So the group of professors questioned her in a separate room.
Hermione directly answered their questions without backing down or showing signs of tempering.
Well she did steal the troll and the things in the room of professor Quirrell.
But these things cannot come into light.
She would take care of these things later after the suspicion of professors died down.
She doesn't worry about them searching their memories.
They would not do something like that.
As for using the tracking spells is even more impossible.
Two days later in the middle of the night she came to the bathroom of the second floor and started the process of dissection of the troll.
She got the holding containers ready before as she already knows about the future.
She used these containers to collect the troll blood for healing potion.
She also carefully peeled off the skin of the troll that can be used as armor.
