The Grand Hall felt heavy with the echoes of lives forever altered. When Alexander and Leila emerged from the chambers, their quiet conversation caught my attention. Alexander's deep, resonant voice carried a tone of reverence as he spoke about his encounter with her wolf mother, Lavender.
"She was… incredible," Alexander said, his expression softened with nostalgia. "Fierce and wild, yet gentle. She challenged me to be better and gave me a glimpse of what it meant to truly live. And now, seeing you, Leila, I feel as if she's given me a second chance."
Leila gave a tentative smile, her fingers brushing against her own as though testing her boundaries with this newfound father. It seemed she was giving him a chance, one small step at a time.
