The world of Shimaishi, said to border the edge of the universe itself, is influenced greatly by a blessing from a greater power - The Orsto Dynasty.

Orsto had been around, an aspect of life in Shimashi for as long as anyone could remember. Orsto was only visible in its form that could be perceived by life in Shimaishi, a large star in the sky with an ominous dusken dragon wrapped around its body. It was perpetually locked in a never ending conflict with its sinister counterpart, the mysterious species of the Lagau which came from an area known as the Outerworlds, a series of lands that lay outside conventional barriers of Shimaishi and the universe itself.

In an effort to combat the Lagau that invaded its territory, the semi-sentient Orsto sent down blessings in the form of Enlightenment to those who lived within Shimaishi, its power being divided upon entry into 16 different subdivisions, or classes. Each person who was blessed with Enlightenment was granted one of these 16 classes, and an entire system that correlated with it.

Some classes were rarer than others, though. Such is the case of the 3 rarest classes - Mindbender, Oathborn, and Shroudwalker.

Each with their own abilities.

The goal of the Enlightened?

To fight in the never ending war with the Lagau, and hopefully find an entrance to and reach the Outerworlds - to eradicate them once and for all.
