"Father, are you serious?" Matthew asked.
Analyn remained composed, her gaze flicking to Jasper. She knew what this meant—it was a bold move, one that could either pave the way for true coexistence or lead to even greater tensions.
Harrington's face paled as he processed the suggestion. "You want us to arrange a marriage between one of your kind and one of ours? Are you proposing we treat this like some kind of medieval kingdom?"
Jasper shook his head, his expression serious. "It's not about medieval customs, Mr. President. It's about binding our futures together. If we share a family, then we share responsibility. It creates a vested interest in maintaining peace. You will see us as more than a threat, and we will see you as more than mere humans driven by fear."
