The man didn't release Eliana. Instead, he glared defiantly at Leo, his posture rigid and unyielding.
"This has nothing to do with you. Turn around and go back to your house," he said, his voice sharp with authority.
"You are trespassing on my territory and putting your hands on someone who belongs to my pack," Leo growled through gritted teeth, his eyes flashing with barely restrained fury.
"She doesn't belong here. I was sent to take her back home, so back off," the man retorted, his tone cold and dismissive.
Eliana swallowed hard, her heart pounding painfully in her chest as she found herself at the center of the clash between two dominant forces.
Leo's gaze shifted to her, his expression fierce yet questioning. "And you? Do you want to go with him?"
"No!" Eliana cried, tears streaming down her face as she shook her head vehemently. "He's trying to force me to go back. I don't want to go back there."
