Leo's gaze didn't waver. "Molina's trial," he said calmly. "Alpha Kieran will be deciding her punishment tonight after midnight, and he requires your presence."
Her heart sank. Part of her felt vindicated that Molina would face justice, but the thought of being in the same space as Alpha Gabriel made her blood run cold. Her hands fidgeted with the edge of the blanket as she glanced up at Leo. "B-but… why is Alpha Gabriel going to be there?" she stammered, dread tightening her throat.
His eyes flashed with authority. "That is not your concern," he said firmly. "Just be ready."
Her gaze dropped to the floor, her shoulders sagging in defeat. No matter how much she wanted to avoid it, she couldn't disobey an order from her employer. "Okay. I'll be there," she murmured quietly, feeling the weight of the night's events pressing down on her.
