"Eliana? Are you sure you are okay now?" James's voice broke through her thoughts, laced with concern.
"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine," she replied quickly, trying to sound convincing. "Molina couldn't hurt me too badly."
James's eyes scanned her with worry. "Good. But tell me if you need anything."
"I'm fine, James. Really," she insisted, forcing a small smile.
He didn't look entirely convinced, but he nodded anyway. "Alright. Just… take care of yourself, okay?"
He escorted her all the way to Leo's house, his watchful eyes on her the entire time. When they reached the front door, they exchanged goodbyes, and Eliana slipped inside with a quiet sigh of relief.
