Chapter 37 - Alliance Vs Behemoth

The air was thick with tension as Bell and his allies stood before the massive Behemoth. The landscape around them was barren, torn apart by the creature's mere presence. Towering like a mountain, the Behemoth's eyes glowed a malevolent crimson, its roar sending tremors through the earth. Every breath it took rattled the ground, and the sky seemed to darken under the shadow of its form.

Bell stood at the forefront, his silver hair flickering in the wind, eyes locked onto the beast. His aura was calm, focused. He had faced terrifying opponents before, but the Behemoth was an ancient horror, a monster of legend. Yet, Bell's heart was steady. This was what he had trained for.

The champions from across the world, each representing their own lands and gods, readied themselves. Magic circles flared to life, weapons gleamed in the fading light, and warriors, mages, and archers prepared to attack from all sides. Finn, Ottar, Airmid, Ryuu, Haruhime, and the rest of Hestia Familia were by Bell's side. Every one of them had grown immensely through their training, but today, Bell would lead them like never before.

With a simple gesture, Bell signaled the beginning of the attack. A chorus of war cries erupted from the gathered forces as they charged forward, their combined might focused on bringing down the monstrous Behemoth. Arrows of light streaked through the air, fireballs and ice spears hurtled toward the beast, while warriors on the ground surged forward with swords and axes.

The Behemoth responded in kind, a deafening roar shaking the ground as it stomped forward, its thick tail swinging with devastating force. The beast's hide was nearly impenetrable, and every attack seemed to barely leave a scratch. It charged forward, sending waves of earth and debris flying.

Bell was a blur of motion. He darted around the battlefield with lightning speed, intercepting the Behemoth's strikes before they could crush his allies. His reflexes were unmatched, his blade cutting through the air with precision and power.

As the Behemoth lunged at Finn, its jaws snapping down like a collapsing mountain, Bell appeared in the blink of an eye, striking the creature's snout with a magical blast that threw its head backward.

"Regroup and strike from its flanks!" Bell shouted. His voice was steady, authoritative, and filled with the confidence of a seasoned leader.

While the others followed his orders, Bell took the fight to the next level. With one hand raised, he summoned immense torrents of fire and wind, weaving them together effortlessly. The flames scorched the Behemoth's armored hide, while the wind cut like razors at its joints. The beast howled in pain, disoriented for the first time.

Hestia Familia and the other elite fighters took advantage of the opening. Ryuu, swift and deadly, danced across the battlefield, slashing at the Behemoth's exposed legs with her wind-enhanced sword. Airmid, now an accomplished warrior-healer, fortified her allies with magic while slashing at the beast with her staff, infused with divine energy.

Ottar, a juggernaut in his own right, locked eyes with Bell for a brief moment. Bell nodded. The massive man charged in, slamming his axe into the Behemoth's leg, staggering it.

But as the creature reeled, Bell moved to its head. In a single bound, he leapt high into the air, his form disappearing from sight for a moment. When he reappeared, his hand glowed with a strange energy—a spell so advanced it was beyond comprehension.

"Infinite Void!" Bell whispered.

A pulse of energy exploded from Bell's fingers, creating a vacuum that suspended the Behemoth in place, trapping the beast in a space where time and matter warped around it. For a moment, everything froze. The world seemed to hold its breath as Bell's magic wrapped around the Behemoth, locking it in place.

Bell floated above the frozen beast, a sense of absolute control radiating from him. His comrades, who had fought tirelessly alongside him, watched in awe. This was Bell Cranel at his full power—an unstoppable force.

With a flick of his hand, Bell broke the spell. The Behemoth was thrown to the ground, its body slamming into the earth with a thunderous crash. It struggled to rise, but the combined efforts of Bell's allies kept it pinned down.

Bell landed softly in front of the Behemoth's head. Its eyes locked onto him, filled with rage and primal instinct. But Bell stood calm, unphased by the beast's ferocity. With both hands gripping his weapon, he channeled every ounce of his strength, magic, and will into a single, devastating strike.

"Destruction... and Rebirth," Bell whispered, invoking the lessons of Shiva.

With one swift motion, his blade descended, glowing with a brilliant light. The force of the strike ripped through the Behemoth, cleaving its massive form in two. The ground shattered beneath the beast, and a blinding flash of light engulfed the battlefield.

When the light faded, the Behemoth lay still—defeated. The ground was silent, the air heavy with the aftermath of the battle. Bell stood tall, his sword sheathed, his aura radiating strength and calm.

His allies stared in stunned silence. They had known Bell was powerful, but this... this was on another level. He wasn't just a warrior. He was something more—a being who had ascended beyond mortal limits.

As the others gathered around the fallen Behemoth, Bell turned to them, his face calm and resolved. "The Behemoth is defeated, but the fight isn't over. The One-Eyed Black Dragon is still out there. I need you all to lead the search."

Finn and the others nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation.

"I have something I need to take care of," Bell continued. "A journey of self-discovery. There are answers I need, and truths I need to confront."

"Bell..." Ryuu began, but Bell raised a hand, smiling softly.

"I'll return soon. And when I do, I'll be ready."

With that, Bell left the group, his steps light but purposeful. He ventured into the wilderness, seeking not just the next battle, but answers—about himself, his past, and his place in the world. He needed to understand who he truly was, and what it meant to be Bell Cranel.

As he walked, the chains of his past—of fear, doubt, and hesitation—slowly began to dissolve. His resolve hardened, his will unshakable. Bell felt lighter, more at peace with himself than he had ever been.

He was no longer just a warrior chasing strength. He was more. He had let go of the burdens that once held him back.

It wasn't long after Bell's departure that word reached Orario. A massive black dragon had been spotted terrorizing the lands that served as a crossroads between the dwarves, elves, and the nation of Rakia. The reports described it as a creature even larger than the original One-Eyed Black Dragon—its presence sending waves of terror across the continent.

Bell received the news as he meditated, perched atop a mountain. His eyes opened slowly, his expression calm yet determined.

"It's time," he whispered to himself.

He descended the mountain and rejoined his allies, their journey now taking them to a land ravaged by the dragon's fury. They stood upon a mountain chain, the landscape scorched and ruined by the beast's rampage.

In the distance, they saw it—The One-Eyed Black Dragon. Towering over the horizon, its single, crimson eye glaring at the world as if it sought to consume everything in its path.

But this time, Bell was ready. His resolve unshakable, his spirit unbreakable. He would face this dragon—and win.

As his allies gathered around him, Bell smiled. "Let's put an end to this."

And so, they descended into the ruins, ready to face the final monster of the Great Quests, knowing that Bell Cranel—the strongest warrior the world had ever known—would lead them to victory.
