"What's happening!?"
The audience watched in shock as Pikachu launched an attack directly at Nami without hesitation. Their faces quickly shifted to expressions of surprise.
The terrifying lightning made them momentarily think that Pikachu was using this opportunity to take revenge on its trainer.
Boom!
A powerful bolt of thunder struck instantly, enveloping Nami and her four large arms.
"Ugh..."
Robin's expression changed drastically, wincing in pain. The paralysis from the lightning caused her to momentarily relax the arms crossed over her chest.
The four giant palms restraining Nami immediately disintegrated into petals, scattering in the air.
Even though Robin's giant hands, created with her Flower-Flower Fruit powers, had a protective barrier enhanced with superpowers, the doubled strength of Pikachu's electric attack was more than Robin could handle.
While the bodies formed by the Flower-Flower Fruit don't cause Robin any physical harm, any sensation they experience is felt by her as if it were real.
Thus...
Pikachu took advantage of the situation!
…
…
However, what truly shocked Robin was Pikachu's decision to attack its own trainer without hesitation.
She hadn't expected this at all.
Even if Nami had the ability to control lightning after evolving through their bond, she shouldn't be comfortable under such a high-voltage shock, right?
As Robin pondered this, the next scene that unfolded in front of her made her exclaim in disbelief:
"How is this possible?"
Swish -
The moment the massive palm disappeared, Pikachu also suddenly vanished, and the lightning and shadows in the sky dispersed.
Nami, who had been struck by the lightning, stood unscathed, as if she hadn't been attacked at all.
Seeing the stunned expressions on Robin and the audience's faces, Nami couldn't help but think to herself:
"Good thing I learned to use the power of thunder to assimilate with lightning during special training, otherwise, that could have been really dangerous."
Although they had already gathered a lot of information about Robin, Nami clearly hadn't expected Robin to be able to surpass lightning and directly summon an arm to grab her from memory!
This realization made Nami understand that the information she had collected was starting to become outdated.
Over the past month, Robin had grown stronger again!
As Nami and Robin both processed these thoughts...
Espeon took advantage of Pikachu's efforts to rescue Nami and quickly used the Light Screen move.
The dark ruby suddenly concentrated powerful psychic energy.
Without waiting for the trainer's command, a cannon-like wave of telekinesis was launched, aimed directly at Pikachu!
Move - Psychic!
As an advanced skill derived from the basic telekinesis move, Psychic far surpasses ordinary telekinesis in both attack strength and range.
"Pikachu!"
Seeing what was happening, Nami quickly pulled a metal coin from her pocket, balancing it on her thumbnail, and swiftly aimed at the path of the Psychic attack.
"Railgun!!!"
Zap!
Bright electric sparks began to dance at Nami's fingertips, like elemental spirits of thunder responding to a mysterious call.
In the next instant, the coin, enveloped in electricity, shot forward, racing towards the psychic attack with a speed that matched it.
The air seemed to shudder from the velocity of the coin, parting to create a fierce wind as it passed.
Boom!
A deafening explosion echoed throughout the arena.
The coin, carrying the tremendous power of thunder, collided head-on with the psychic energy charged with mental force. The resulting energy burst violently, creating a powerful shockwave that spread in all directions.
The impact was just as intense as when Zoro and Sanji had clashed moments before.
The audience's eyes widened in shock, and even some in the contestants' area looked stunned.
What's going on?!
Based on what they knew, wasn't Nami just an ordinary person with little strength?
Even after evolving through their bond, she shouldn't have suddenly become this powerful!
"Wh-What just happened!?"
An elderly pirate voiced the confusion of everyone around him.
They couldn't understand how a simple coin could unleash such devastating power in Nami's hands!
It could even match the attack of a Espeon at level 60!
And at that moment...
Feeling the gasps of astonishment all around, Nami couldn't help but smirk, a playful glint in her eyes.
Railgun, a powerful move that uses lightning to create a specific magnetic field, making metal explode with tremendous force!
Of course, Nami didn't invent this move herself.
It was something she learned during her special training from Enel, the master of the Sky Island Gym.
At the time, Enel had gathered a group of trainers who specialized in Electric-type Pokémon for guidance.
But in the end, Nami was the only one who mastered this move perfectly, thanks to her extraordinary sensitivity to electromagnetic forces.
This left the other Electric Pokémon trainers feeling envious and impressed.
However...
As the true originator of this move, or rather its teacher, Leo knew that Nami's ability to learn this technique was also due to her exceptional talent for sensing weather!
Nami can easily perceive weather conditions because changes in temperature, humidity, magnetism, and other factors in the air are magnified dozens of times in her perception!
Now, using just a fraction of her talent, she had become a formidable lightning user in the eyes of all Electric Pokémon trainers.
...
...
"What an intriguing girl."
From the high platform, watching Nami unleash such incredible power from her slender frame, Garp's eyes lit up, and he murmured to himself.
Zoro and Ace, standing on either side of him, nodded in agreement.
Even Zoro, who had also undergone special training, had no idea that this girl, Nami, had hidden such an ability!
It must be admitted...
With this one move alone, her strength had surpassed most people, putting her among the ranks of the strong!
Several powerful figures in the pirate world, seated in the audience, had mixed expressions upon witnessing Nami's display of power.
Doflamingo's face was dark.
Though he understood that Nami's success was rare, the idea that an ordinary girl could reach such heights with just the power of Pokémon...
It made him, a seasoned powerhouse, uneasy.
If this trend continued, Pokémon trainers would soon surpass the established powers like them.
And the influx of new forces would inevitably disrupt people like him.
If he couldn't adapt to the changing times, he, the king of the underworld, might be overthrown by these new challengers!
After all, he knew all too well just how immense the stakes were!
Suddenly, Doflamingo pulled out a den-den mushi from his coat and issued instructions to the members of the Donquixote family at home...
He didn't say much, only ordering them to quickly consolidate all the family's financial resources and assets to be fully prepared for any dimensional transactions!
...
...
Just when everyone was still reeling from the shock, another powerful impact erupted on stage.
Despite being surprised by Nami's display of strength, Robin, with her extensive combat experience, knew better than to be caught up in her opponent's power. As petals danced through the air, she used her arms to launch Espeon high into the sky. In the same moment, Robin's form shimmered and vanished from sight.
With the combined might of Nami and Pikachu's attacks, Robin had no choice but to use her psychic powers to conceal herself. Staying visible meant risking a hit from either Nami or Pikachu, which could easily force her out of the battle. Understanding her role clearly, Robin focused on creating opportunities for Espeon to attack, providing the necessary support.
"Invisible?" Nami muttered, frowning as she watched Robin disappear before her eyes. She knew Robin had used her psychic abilities to hide. During her special training, Nami had encountered this kind of tactic multiple times. With Robin concealed, her original plan to "capture the leader first" would have to change. Due to Robin's psychic influence, even Nami's Observation Haki couldn't detect her position.
"This is troublesome!" Nami thought, shifting her gaze to Espeon, now airborne on a floating palm. Under the bright sunlight, Espeon's fur glistened, and its nine tails waved wildly in the air. A mysterious glow appeared on the gem on its forehead as it prepared to launch a familiar move—a psychic assault!
"Tch~ In that case, let's deal with Espeon first!" Nami decided, changing tactics. With the power boost from Pikachu's Electric Orb, she abandoned the search for Robin and focused on Espeon instead. Her short orange hair flowed in the wind, crackling with electricity.
"Pikachu, use Thunder!!!" Nami commanded, pulling out another coin identical to the one before. In their bonded state, Nami could draw upon Pikachu's immense electrical power without worrying about running out of energy.
Boom!!!
In an instant, another railgun-like bolt of electricity shot out, targeting the airborne Espeon. But just then, numerous arms appeared out of nowhere, intercepting the railgun's path. The psychic-infused palms transformed into fists, and with a mighty swing, they met the railgun head-on!
Bam!!!
With a loud thud, the arms exploded into a shower of petals, scattering into the air. But Robin's sacrifice paid off—the railgun was blocked.
In a corner of the arena, Robin winced as she clutched her right hand. Despite the pain being purely psychic feedback, the intensity of the railgun's impact made it hard for Robin to distinguish whether the pain was real or imagined.
Simultaneously, Pikachu's Thunder and Espeon's psychic blast were released again. A lightning bolt streaked down from the clear sky, striking Espeon, while a wave of mental energy enveloped Pikachu's small frame.
Boom!!!
Boom!!!
Two explosions echoed one after the other, followed by the cries of pain from both Pokémon. Yet, amidst the chaos, determination blazed in Pikachu and Espeon's eyes. Injured but resolute, both Pokémon stood their ground, summoning their strength for another attack.
"Pika~chu!!!"
"Esp—eon~!!!"
As the two Pokémon cried out, another bolt of lightning descended on Espeon, while a psychic blast hurtled toward Pikachu again. Just as everyone braced for a repeat of the previous clash, a figure suddenly appeared beside Espeon.
"Teleport!" Robin shouted, closing her eyes and touching Espeon. Her powerful psychic energy activated instantly, and in the blink of an eye, she and Espeon vanished from sight.
Rumble...
The thunder struck the arena floor, causing a massive shockwave before quickly dissipating, having missed its target. Meanwhile, Espeon's psychic attack landed squarely on Pikachu again.
Pikachu, realizing the thunder had missed, tried to dodge the psychic blast by pushing off the ground with its tail. But, unexpectedly, the blast curved mid-flight and struck Pikachu head-on.
Bam!!!
Pikachu was sent flying, tumbling across the ground like a rubber ball. "Pikachu!" Nami called out in concern, but sensing that their bonded state remained intact, she sighed in relief, knowing Pikachu wasn't gravely injured.
Turning her attention back to Robin and Espeon in the distance, Nami noticed Robin preparing to vanish again. She quickly pulled out another coin.
Boom!
Another electromagnetic shot flew out. Seeing this, Espeon quickly conjured a Light Screen to block the attack.
However...
"I can't let you escape like that, Robin!" Nami declared, redirecting the railgun to hit near Robin's position instead.
Whoosh!
The powerful blast kicked up a fierce gust of wind, throwing Robin off balance and disrupting her concentration. Robin struggled to gather her psychic energy as the wind howled around her.
Smirking, Nami realized she had found an opening. "Pikachu, use Volt Tackle on Robin!!!"
"Pika!"
At Nami's command, Pikachu, already prepared, surged forward with a burst of electrical energy. In that moment, Nami set aside any reservations—dealing with Robin, who could use psychic powers, was more critical than Espeon!
Whoosh!
A brilliant golden flash streaked across the battlefield, hurtling toward Robin. In her compromised state, Robin had no chance to react.
Boom!!!
With a powerful collision, Pikachu struck Robin, sending her flying.
"Ah!!!"
Robin cried out in pain, her pitiful appearance tugging at the heartstrings of many onlookers. But there was no changing the outcome—Robin was out of the fight...
