"Honestly you came along way lil bro," NEXUS remarked with genuineness. Edward walks down stairs to put his shoes on for school, "Good morning sweetheart, your breakfast is on the table." Amara remarked kissing Eddy's forehead. "Thanks mom," Edward remarked while eating his eggs and ham. Edward walks to the bus hopping onto it with young Clark. "They grow up so fast," Martha remarked fondly. "They still have a long ways to go, you can still baby them before that." Johnathon remarked to both of them. Amara walks to where David is.
David's P.O.V
In the barn, feeding the horses with rich hay. "Is everything going well, darling." Amara remarked hugging David's back. "We're up by 25% in produce." David informed proudly. "I see my prayer to Athïna have bore fruit." Amara remarked. David walks to Amara and kisses her on the lips with an embrace. "You're gonna have to tell him, sooner than later, " David said in a knowing manner. " Amara stays quiet. "Please Amara, you need to tell him he's almost a teenager," David pleaded softly. "Ok, I'll talk to him, when he comes from school," Amara reassured David.
"On a much higher note, you look Magnifique for one, secondly, I've been trying to learn Portuguese and I was wondering if a master such as yourself could help me in a more, comfortable setting." David remarked with innuendo in his speech. "Oh, qual será a palavra de segurança?" Amara remarked in Portuguese. "Pirilampo." David uttered in a fierce tone while the two appearing in their room together.
Near the end of the school day-

At practice -
David's P.O.V
"Come on Eddy, you got this," He encouraged. Edward breathes in, takes his bat, getting ready to strike the ball,
CRACK!, he strikes. "Woooooo that was great honey!" Amara excitedly yelled.
She sits next to her husband. "He's getting better every time he plays." Amara states proudly. "That's because he's one of a kind, he's our son after all." David remarked. "hu, the only thing I want, is for him to enjoy his childhood," Amara commented carryingly. "Today's the day I suppose." Amara remarked melancholiclly . "He's gonna be great, I believe in him." David mentioned reassuringly to Amara.
Em's P.O.V
"And the crowd goes wild, AHAHAHAHA, oh your MILF of a mom is here and oh boy she is dazzling. NEXUS remarked with a 50's microphone voice. "Please don't, you're an obnoxious dick head, and a lebb with fewer brain cells than a coyote." Edward insultingly remarked to NEXUS.
2 hours later -
After baseball practice Amara and David arrived home with Edward running inside. "Hey Eddy!, how was practice?" Clark questions. "Yo what's up bro, practice was good, how's your day been?" Eddy replied.
"Meh can't complain really, I did help Pete from a bully today so, pretty good I ." Clark gets cut of by Edward.
"So you didn't throw a kid through a door today?" Eddy whispered. Clark suspiciously looked around he gestured to the upstairs corridor. "How did you know dude?" Clark asked. "A little Something called context clues, for one you weren't making eye contact and the other you face slightly flinched when you talked about saving Pete," Edward remarked coolly. "Wow did uncle Dave really teach you how to read people like that?" Clark uttered with amazement. "Yeah, but for you your an open book." Edward laughed.
10 minutes later -
"Hey sweetie, can we talk?" Amara remarked. "Yeah sure what's up mom." Edward responded listening. "You know how Clark is, special, and how he's not from around here,"
"Mom I know he's an alien, it's pretty obvious," Edward remarked nonchalantly. "Geez kiddo I knew you were smart but how could you tell?" Amara questioned. "Well you don't really let Clark or me go in the farm basement, that only could be hiding something large, and also Clark was adopted on the day the meteors fell, he definitely has more strength than any normal person could have and he's really fast; he definitely didn't get that from uncle or auntie, so the trail lead to him being an alien in my books," Edward replied detectively. "You're as smart if not smarter than your father." Amara complemented. "Hm, I know." Edward remarked cockily.
"Ok we trailed off course a bit, what I was going to say is that, I'm also not from here, and by that I mean you're also not all the way human," Amara asserted waiting for a response. "Wow that just, obvious I know that, those bracers that you keep hiding are definitely not from around here but I just thought that those were a family heirloom," Eddy remarked honestly.
"Well no those are a completely different story, but another thing have you been snooping in your father and I's room," Amara questioned with a growing lecture in his voice. " all that have to say is that I was just looking for some fruit snacks, and I stumbled over them," Edward remarked putting his hands up in surrender.
"Well next time ask, and don't go around trying to take something without asking first young man." Amara remarked with reprimand. "I swear, cross my heart," Edward replied doing the hand motions. "Ok then, I'll hold you to your oath," Amara said half jokingly and half seriously, but getting back to the point. "So we're was I, ah yes, our race is not exactly a peaceful one,"
