Seeing Fisk take on this task so willingly brought a good feeling to Rosh. It seemed his "Laser Man" persona had worked its magic. For someone like Fisk, having the opportunity to earn the favor of such a valuable individual was an opportunity he would not easily pass up. However, Fisk's eagerness wasn't solely due to this; another significant factor was at play: the Hand.
Following his recent clash with Madame Gao and Murakami, Fisk had been fortifying his forces and conducting thorough investigations on them. Yet, as he dug deeper into their backgrounds, he found himself deeply unsettled. The Hand's size and influence were overwhelming, even for Fisk, who ruled over Hell's Kitchen with an iron fist. Facing an organization that had spanned hundreds, if not thousands, of years, wasn't something he could take lightly. For him, Shaun Lee's appearance was a gift from above, and there was no way he would let this chance slip by.
In fact, Fisk had already eyed several members in the chat group. Although many of them were Devil Fruit users, there were few combat-ready members. The only real fighter was Deadpool, who unfortunately turned down Fisk's offer to work together against The Hand.
As a mercenary, Deadpool was no fool—joining a vendetta against the Hand sounded like a lifetime commitment. Now that Deadpool had a legitimate job, his days of running into the crossfire for cash were behind him. Especially now, as he and Vanessa were planning on having kids, he wanted to stay far away from his past life of gunfire and bloodshed.
This left Fisk unable to find a single willing combatant. So, with Shaun Lee's arrival, his excitement was only natural.

Shaun Lee: "Thank you, Fisk! As a New York newcomer, I could use your support."
Wade Wilson: "Dammit, Fisk, you beat me to it! Shaun, you might not know, but I'm actually quite a big deal around here. Finding people is a breeze for me."
Charles Xavier: "Well, since Fisk has offered, I won't push further. But do let me know if there's anything else I can help with."
Michael Morbius: "I might not be of much use in this area, but if there's anything scientific or academic, feel free to reach out."
Helen Cho: "I focus mainly on bionanotechnology, so I'm afraid I can't offer much help, Mr. Lee."
Hope Van Dyne: "Sorry, Mr. Lee, I'm not much help here either. But it seems everyone is eager to assist, so I'm sure you'll be in good hands!"
Shaun Lee: "Thank you all! I appreciate the support!"
With that, Rosh promptly added Fisk as a friend and sent him a photo of the target.
"Photo received. I'll start investigating right away," Fisk replied. "Do you have any other clues?"
"Unfortunately not," Rosh replied, "The man is already dead, and I disposed of the body."
Hearing Shaun's candid admission to murder, Fisk felt a spark of excitement. Clearly, this man was someone he could work with. He then responded, "No problem. The photo is enough. Leave the rest to me."

Elsewhere—S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters
Agent Coulson was standing before Nick Fury, the man who knew everything and missed nothing, briefing him on recent developments.
"Wilson Fisk is ostensibly a successful businessman, but he's actually the kingpin of Hell's Kitchen and controls much of New York's underground…"
"I know who Fisk is, Coulson," Fury interrupted, his single eye sharp. "Just give me the conclusion."
"Well, it's not what we expected, Director Fury. It turns out Fisk isn't a mutant," Coulson replied earnestly, "which means we were wrong about him being an undocumented mutant."
Fury's single eye grew intense. "So that means his knife-handed partner, Bullseye, isn't a mutant either?"
"Correct, Director," Coulson confirmed, producing a stack of reports. "And he's not the only one. Elektra is a mercenary who can grow spikes from her body, and not just any spikes—razor-sharp, metallic thorns. Then there's the blind man called 'Stick.' He can emit a unique energy wave from his hands."
Fury leaned forward, intrigued, as Coulson continued.
"Then there's Dr. Helen Cho, a biologist specializing in nanomedicine. Her power? With a mere touch, she can heal nearly any ailment within a minute."
Fury absorbed the information, silent but alert as he surveyed the growing dossier. The number of individuals with extraordinary abilities in Fisk's circle seemed to be increasing.
