The sniper, though shocked, quickly recovered his composure. He raised his rifle once more, aiming directly at Rosh. However, Rosh wasn't about to let him take another shot. With a quick flick of his finger, he fired a photon bullet straight into the sniper's hand, piercing it with pinpoint precision.

*Zap!*

"Ah!" The sniper let out a pained groan, his eyes widening in horror as he stared at Rosh, finally realizing what sort of weapon he'd used against the man with the top hat earlier: nothing but his own finger.

*Zap! Zap! Zap!*

But Rosh didn't stop there. He methodically fired off photon bullets at the sniper's remaining arm and legs, completely incapacitating him. With his limbs rendered useless, the sniper collapsed helplessly onto the ground.

"I'll only ask once," Rosh said coldly. "Who sent you?" He stood over the sniper, looking down at him with a cold, piercing gaze as the man writhed in pain, staring back at him like he was some kind of monster.

The sniper sneered, flashing a mocking grin despite his predicament. "Or what? You'll kill me?"

Rosh's gaze hardened. "I'll fill you with a hundred holes and see if that'll kill you. That sounds fun, right?"

Despite the threat, the sniper merely laughed coldly. "You don't know the first thing about making threats." Then, with a quick motion, he bit down hard on something. Foam started to form at the corners of his mouth as he convulsed on the ground, and within seconds, he lay motionless.

Rosh stared down, speechless. 'Damn! He poisoned himself. It was like something straight out of a spy movie. But this wasn't some secret agent or high-level intelligence officer—he was just a hitman. That level of commitment seemed… excessive.'

Annoyed, he realized this dead-end meant he'd lost his only lead. Whoever was after the Devil Fruit would remain a mystery for now. But he couldn't leave the bodies behind. With a few flashes of concentrated photon energy, Rosh obliterated them, leaving no trace of their presence. After taking a few photos of the sniper for potential leads, he used the Glint-Glint Fruit's powers to annihilate the evidence. The bodies dissolved into glowing dust under a barrage of photon blasts, ensuring no one would ever find a trace.

With the scene cleared, Rosh transformed back into light and shot off into the night, vanishing as if nothing had happened. He returned to his apartment, changed out of his blood-stained clothes, took a quick shower, and lay back in bed, deep in thought.

His mind first wandered to the identities of the man in the top hat and the sniper. Though he had no concrete evidence, he had a strong suspicion, The Hand. After his confrontation with them in his shop, it was too much of a coincidence for these attacks to happen now.

But without solid evidence, all he had were suspicions. And with only a photo of the sniper, finding the mastermind on his own was impossible. For this, he would need outside help. Luckily, there were powerful people in the group chat—if any of them helped him investigate, it wouldn't be hard to uncover the truth.

But then a dilemma arose. As the high-profile owner of a mysterious Devil Fruit shop, his image among the group was one of power and mystery. Seeking help for something as minor as tracking down a sniper's identity might shatter that image. Despite his laid-back attitude, they looked up to him with a certain awe.

How could he ask for assistance without sacrificing his reputation? After some thought, he came up with an idea. "Perfect," he muttered to himself, his mind now at ease. He turned off the lights and drifted into a peaceful sleep.

The next morning, Rosh woke up naturally, took his time getting ready, and strolled over to the Home of the Devil Fruit half an hour late. But that was the privilege of being the boss—he could come and go as he pleased. He filled the display cases with the Devil Fruits, tidied up, and, with a sly smile, pulled out his phone. He created a new account and added it to the group chat.

Shopkeeper: "@Everyone, we have a new member in the Devil Fruit Family! Give him a warm welcome!"

Shaun Lee: "Hello, everyone! My name is Shaun Lee. It's a pleasure to meet you all. As a newcomer, I look forward to your guidance."

The group chat, which had been quiet, immediately buzzed with excitement as everyone rushed to greet the new member.
