The two quickly added each other as friends, and Rosh invited Helen Cho into the group chat.
"A new member? Dr. Cho? I knew it was you!"
Deadpool responded instantly, making Rosh wonder if he had nothing better to do than hang around in the chat all day.
"Mr. Wade, I look forward to your guidance in the future!"
Helen, on the other hand, was as polite as always.
"Welcome, Dr. Cho, to our Devil Fruit Family," Rosh also greeted Helen in the chat.
"Well then, I won't disturb you any further."
Helen prepared to leave, holding the remaining half of the Heal-Heal Fruit in her hand. "I can take this with me, right?"
"Of course, Dr. Cho, you've already paid for it. It's yours," Rosh replied with a smile.
"Goodbye, then, Mr. Rosh."
"Goodbye, Dr. Cho. Don't forget to introduce me to some clients!"
"I will, Mr. Rosh."
After exchanging brief pleasantries, Helen Cho left the shop with half of the healing fruit in hand.
"That went really well. I've sold another one!"
Rosh felt quite pleased. He had been prepared for a tough battle, yet on the second day, he had already closed a sale. This was a very promising start.
Just four more sales, and he could earn another reward.
"I hope Helen can bring me a few more customers," Rosh thought optimistically. Unlike Wade, Helen Cho was a top-tier elite who was connected to people like Tony Stark. Her network was on a completely different level.
"Rosh, how did the chat with Dr. Cho go?"
In the group chat, Deadpool started up again.
"Dr. Cho is beautiful, isn't she? I wasn't lying! @Dr. Cho, what do you think of Rosh?"
Really, Wade! Rosh rubbed his forehead. Have you seriously taken on the role of a matchmaker now? Who knew Wade had such a mischievous streak?
Rosh decided to ignore Wade. With Helen still in the chat, how was he supposed to respond to something like that?
"Wade, Mr. Rosh is an incredible person, but I only respect him. I have no other thoughts, so please don't misunderstand," Helen clarified.
But Wade wasn't deterred. He started gossiping about Helen Cho's type, what kind of men she liked, and so on, all under the pretense of asking on Rosh's behalf.
Eventually, Helen couldn't be bothered to respond to Wade.
Yet Deadpool continued his one-man show, chatting away for half an hour even with no one replying.
Rosh suddenly regretted adding such a chatterbox to the group. There were only three members now, but what would happen if more joined later? Deadpool would be out of control!
Should he mute him?
Rosh felt an almost irresistible urge to do so.
"Forget it, let him be."
In the end, Rosh exited the group chat, out of sight, out of mind. He logged back into the international server of Honor of Kings, planning to play a few rounds.
Though the experience wasn't the best, it was still fun. He hadn't expected to also find Honor of Kings in this world.
Tencent Games, you're incredible!

The day passed uneventfully.
As expected, Rosh didn't manage to sell another Devil Fruit after Helen Cho left. These "luxury items," which could cost hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars, weren't exactly easy to sell, but Rosh was okay with that.
He didn't dwell on it, and after locking up the store, he left without looking back.
As for the valuable Devil Fruits left in the store, Rosh wasn't worried at all. Before leaving, he had stored them all in the system, so the shop was now completely empty.
After grabbing a quick meal, Rosh hailed a taxi and headed to the seaside.
Staring at the endless blue ocean, Rosh silently prayed: Please, let there be no Seastone in this world!
Yes, Rosh had come to the beach specifically to confirm this.
As everyone knows, Seastone is the natural enemy of Devil Fruits, but does it exist in the Marvel universe? No one knows, not even the system. So Rosh had to find out for himself.
Before, Rosh hadn't been a Devil Fruit user, so he couldn't test it. The matter had been delayed until now.
After taking off his coat and shoes, Rosh took a deep breath and walked slowly into the sea.
The icy water engulfed his feet, but Rosh didn't feel any discomfort, so he cautiously walked further into the sea.
Step by step, the water rose to his calves, his thighs, his waist, his torso, and finally, up to his neck.
Rosh glanced at some people swimming and playing nearby and decided to take one final test. After all, with so many people around, someone would rescue him even if something went wrong. That was why Rosh had chosen a crowded spot.
"Here goes nothing!"
Taking a deep breath, Rosh dove into the water.
And then...
Nothing happened.
The seawater in this world didn't contain Seastone!
The Devil Fruits had no weakness!
Rosh was thrilled by the discovery.
"Next... I should start training my Devil Fruit ability."
Rosh made up his mind. The fruit's power needed to be developed and trained even with the system. He could add points through the system, but who knew when he'd complete the sales tasks? Until then, he would have to train on his own.
But the power of the Glint-Glint Fruit was so dazzling that Rosh carefully chose an isolated mountain to train on.
"No one's likely to come to this godforsaken place, right?"
Rosh surveyed the surroundings and felt satisfied with the location. He then marked some rocks with crosses and began his training.
*Shh! Shh! Shh!*
*Shh! Shh! Shh!*
Brilliant flashes of light burst from the desolate mountain as one rock after another was shattered into dust by the golden photon blasts Rosh unleashed.
Even though it was just the most basic use of the fruit's power, the destructive force was already astonishing, far surpassing that of conventional bullets in this world.
Devil Fruits were indeed cheat codes.
