"So, I assume these individuals aren't mutants either, right?" Fury asked, his single eye skimming over the photos in front of him before focusing back on Coulson with certainty.

"That's right. I've already confirmed it with Professor X," Coulson replied, nodding firmly.

"So, they're not unregistered mutants. Professor X has held up his end of the agreement," Fury nodded thoughtfully. "So, Coulson, what's the real story here?"

Coulson placed another photo on Fury's desk. Fury glanced down at it, his eye narrowing slightly in curiosity. "Home Of The Devil Fruits?"

"Yes, Director. Four months ago, this shop opened quietly on 73rd Street. But it doesn't sell regular fruit. Instead, it offers something called 'Devil Fruits.'"

"'Devil Fruits,' huh?" Fury's eyebrow arched.

"The 'Home Of The Devil Fruits' is not just a catchy name. They genuinely sell 'Devil Fruits.' According to the owner, eating one grants superhuman powers, and each fruit is priced in the millions." Coulson explained. "At first, people dismissed it as nonsense. But…"

"But the people we thought were unregistered mutants are actually customers who consumed these fruits, correct?" Fury interrupted, finishing Coulson's sentence.

"Exactly, Director. Our investigations confirm it," Coulson replied, nodding decisively.

"So, these incredible, ability-granting fruits actually exist?" Fury's usual composure wavered slightly. Even with all his experience handling the strange and supernatural, Fury found the idea hard to digest.

If such extraordinary fruits existed, why would the people behind them sell them at all? Fury couldn't understand that thought. If he had access to such a resource, he would guard it fiercely, keeping it under lock and key for personal use. Who would sell something so powerful?

"Director, how do you want to proceed?" Coulson asked, his tone serious as he locked eyes with Fury.

"Send Natasha in. I want her to get a closer look at what this Home Of The Devil Fruits is really about," Fury replied decisively, not hesitating for a moment.

Home Of The Devil Fruits

"Anthony Weir, age forty-two, a security manager at Hollinger Trading Co. But that's only his cover," Rosh, using his Shaun Lee alias, was in the middle of a conversation with Fisk. "In reality, he's a professional assassin trained from a young age, active mainly in Southeast Asia, and a high-profile fugitive wanted in four countries."

It had only been a day, but Fisk had already uncovered the identity of the gunman down to every last detail. Rosh couldn't help but admire the depth of Fisk's resources in the underworld. But what Rosh wanted to know most remained unclear: who was behind Anthony Weir's actions?

"I haven't identified Anthony's client yet," Fisk assured him, "but I've found a few leads. Give me a few more days, and I'll have it sorted."

"Thank you Mr. Fisk."

"When I commit to something, I see it through," Fisk replied.

After a brief exchange, they ended the call. Rosh felt assured, trusting that Fisk, with his extensive reach and resources, was more than capable of unearthing the truth.

Shortly after, the chime above the store's door rang, catching Rosh's attention. He looked up to see a striking woman with a curvaceous figure and flowing golden curls stepping into the shop. Her presence radiated confidence and allure.

It was Black Widow herself.

Instantly, Rosh recognized her from her iconic presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It seemed S.H.I.E.L.D. had finally taken an interest.

"Why hello there, miss! Welcome to our humble shop," Rosh greeted her with a warm smile, masking his inner thoughts.

"Hello, Shopkeeper," she responded, her voice casual yet friendly. "I was just passing by and noticed the unique name 'Home Of The Devil Fruits.' It certainly caught my attention. So, I thought I'd pop in to see what exactly a 'Devil Fruit' is. Is it some kind of fancy pastry? I once visited a bakery that made intricate, flower-shaped pastries. It was really fascinating," she said innocently.

Though Black Widow had disguised herself as a random woman attracted by the shop's quirky name, Rosh saw right through her act. But he wasn't about to call her out on it. Whether or not she was a SHIELD agent, she was still a customer as long as she was here to buy a Devil Fruit.

"Sorry for the misunderstanding," Rosh replied with a lighthearted laugh. "We're not a pastry shop. This is the one and only 'Home Of The Devil Fruits.'"
