Anne's wedding party continued into the night. The atmosphere here also felt different as the dance music led the guests to the dance floor. I watched as couples began dancing together. The scene was incredibly romantic. I was quite happy to witness this because it's rare for me to attend weddings in person.
I also saw Anne enjoying her dance with her husband. They looked so close and were clearly enjoying the pleasant music. Not everyone was on the dance floor, like Khane and me. We were still seated where we had been since arriving. Whether it was because Khane didn't like the wedding or had an issue with dancing, I wasn't sure. It seemed impossible that Khane wouldn't know how to dance.
Suddenly, Anne pulled me aside and whispered, "Hey, are you going to let that man just sit there? Don't you hear the music? It's perfect for dancing together." I didn't expect Anne to say something like that.
