[Olivia's POV]
I was a bit surprised by Khane's question. Even though I wanted to deny it, he already knew. Perhaps one of the bodyguards watching over me had told him. I was aware that many people were watching us, but Khane only sent two guards to follow me so that I would feel comfortable while strolling through the mall.
As we grew closer, Khane made his protection over me clear. It made me realize the dangers of the life I now lived with him. So dangerous that we had to be extremely cautious of everyone's movements around us.
"Hmm… it's not a big deal, Khane. I just didn't want to make you angry and have you do something strange to them. I know what you would do if you heard it from me. So, just let the issue go. Right now, I'm enjoying our time together." If I didn't express this to Khane, he might have already dragged me away and taken me back to the penthouse. That would have made me sad since my freedom to see the outside world was limited.
