----------

The Bat-Bat Fruit Model: Vampire and Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon are both Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits, and each has its unique advantages.

The Bat-Bat Fruit Model: Vampire is a classic "Perfect Battle Form" Devil Fruit. Alongside enhancements in physical attacks, speed, defense, and rapid blood recovery, it's one of the few Devil Fruits that grants the ability to fly.

Its unique blood-sucking ability not only grants immortality but also allows the user to quickly heal by absorbing blood during combat, maintaining peak fighting condition at all times. This fruit combines power, flight, blood recovery, and immortality, making it a formidable burst-type fruit.

In contrast, in Akira's view, the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon from the original story leans more towards being an "all-round support" type, not significantly boosting the user's strength. However, after much deliberation, Akira still chose the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon.

Times have changed, after all.

If Akira hadn't activated the system before, he wouldn't have hesitated to choose the Bat-Bat Fruit Model: Vampire, especially given his past need for a life-saving Devil Fruit to enhance his physical fitness and strength. But now that he has the system, choosing the Bat-Bat Fruit Model: Vampire as his fruit would be redundant and unnecessary.

The Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon, however, is different.

With Vice Admirals who are 'loyal' and 'obedient', Akira needs a master who follows orders, and the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon can help him secure the position of Fleet Admiral.

"It doesn't seem like much," Akira muttered to himself, picking up a mirror and observing his unchanged muscles. "It really does seem like the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon is an auxiliary fruit."

After consuming the fruit, he could feel energy within him, waiting to be harnessed. He sensed that he could channel this energy to his hand instantly, but that seemed to be the extent of it.

The main appeal of Zoan fruits is the significant increase in the user's basic combat power. While he didn't feel a dramatic increase, there was a noticeable small boost. For instance, if his power level was 1 before, it would increase to 5 after eating the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon. Although he had become stronger, it didn't quite meet his expectations.

Still, Akira wasn't overly concerned.

He had initially intended to eat the Bat-Bat Fruit Model: Vampire but ultimately chose the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon, so it was normal to feel a bit of discrepancy.

[Host: Akira]

[Age: 29]

[Physique: Monster Level (0/10000)]

[Development of Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon: Normal Level (0/100)]

[Abilities: Gun Mastery, Iron Body]

[Experience Points: 600]

"It just so happens I have enough experience points; let's boost it."

Akira focused his mind and lightly clicked on the "Development of Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon" on the first page of the system.

[Ding, do you want to spend 100 experience points to upgrade it to the elite level?]

"Yes!"

As soon as Akira confirmed, his experience points dropped by 100, and he immediately felt a surge in the fruit's energy within him. While he couldn't see it, he could sense it clearly—he was stronger. Both his physical strength and the abilities tied to the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon had significantly improved.

[Ding, the development of the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon has been upgraded to the elite level.]

With a thought, Akira concentrated the fruit's energy in his right hand.

Hum.

A glow erupted, and something began to form in his palm.

A few seconds later, a leaf materialized out of thin air.

"The physical exertion isn't as much as I expected," Akira noted, raising an eyebrow. "Let's test its power."

Swish Swish Swish.

He pulled out a pen, thought for a moment, and began writing a name on the deformed leaf while recalling the corresponding appearance and abilities from his memory.

[Zoro]

Back when he watched anime on Blue Star, Zoro from the protagonist group had been his favorite.

To test the ability of Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon, Zoro was the first person who came to Akira's mind.

Given that Roger had just died, Zoro hadn't even been born yet in this world. If Akira could replicate him, it would prove that the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon was truly incredible.

After writing the characters, Akira paused, frowning. "Turns out writing the names takes the most out of you."

In the world of One Piece, whether it's in combat, using Haki, or Devil Fruit abilities, the energy expenditure is always calculated in terms of physical stamina. The stronger the ability or attack, the more stamina it consumes.

Under this rule, having a strong physique means a higher potential for strength and better endurance.

"But it's manageable. Replicating East Blue Zoro only took a little more energy than creating the deformed leaf."

"I'll test how much stamina it takes to replicate Grand Line Zoro or New World Zoro later."

Akira then tossed the leaf into the open space ahead.

Boom.

A cloud of thick smoke appeared, and a figure glowing with green light emerged from it.

Wearing a green hood and with a green belly roll around his waist, the figure had the famous sword Wado Ichimonji clenched in his teeth, holding a broken sword in each hand.

"The scars on the back are the shame of a swordsman."

Zoro spread his arms outward, a cocky smile on his face as he spoke confidently.

But the moment the words left his mouth, his expression froze.

Puff~~~

Blood gushed from his chest like a fountain. Zoro's face turned as pale as the blood that spilled from him, and he collapsed to the ground.

"My lord, can't you copy me properly?" Zoro groaned, looking at Akira with a pained expression before disappearing.

Akira rubbed his forehead, apologetic. "Sorry about that. The most memorable image I had of you from the East Blue arc was when you were sliced up by Dracule Mihawk."

The corner of Zoro's mouth twitched before he vanished.

Akira picked up the leaf from the ground, his eyes flickering with realization. He thought to himself, "It seems that the people copied by the Deformation Leaf not only retain their memories but also understand their identities."

Initially, Akira expected to have to explain everything to Zoro, ensuring he understood the situation and followed orders. But surprisingly, Zoro acted as if he already knew everything.

Upon reflection, Akira realized that this made sense. The Leaf replicates characters based on his own memories, so it must also copy their experiences. Given that, the copied Zoro would naturally know who he was.

"Wait... copying a character from memory!"

"If that's the case, then..."

A sudden idea struck Akira, making his breath quicken. Without hesitation, he picked up the Leaf and returned to his seat.

He erased Zoro's name and, with the pen in hand, wrote a new name in one swift motion.

[Kamado Nezuko]

After finishing, he eagerly threw the Leaf forward.

Boom.

When the smoke cleared, a petite girl with a lovely appearance stood before him. She had long, soft hair cascading over a pink kimono, a black haori draped over her shoulders, and a bamboo tube in her mouth. It was Kamado Nezuko.

"Hiss... it's really possible."

Akira's eyes widened in disbelief. Kamado Nezuko, the younger sister of Kamado Tanjiro from the world of Demon Slayer, wasn't a character that existed in the world of One Piece. Yet here she was, brought to life by the combination of Akira's memories and the Raccoon fruit's power.

Nezuko blinked her big, sparkling eyes, standing still as she gazed at Akira, unsure of what he was thinking. She didn't move, waiting patiently for instructions, her gentle and obedient nature apparent.

"Nezuko, come here, let me see you."

The breeze blowing in from the window snapped Akira out of his thoughts. He looked ahead and waved her over.

Nezuko responded quickly, running to his side.

"So real!"

"This hair, this skin, this face, these little hands, this..."

Akira placed his large hand on Nezuko's head, gently touching her from top to bottom, his face full of admiration. The Devil Fruit's abilities were truly extraordinary—Nezuko felt just like a real person.

Her long, soft hair had a pleasant fragrance, her skin was smooth, her hands slender...

And her cheeks had a blush, looking shy.

Wait, Nezuko is shy?

Akira paused, suddenly realizing what he was doing. He quickly withdrew his hand, embarrassed, and rubbed the tip of his nose.

"I'm sorry, Nezuko. I didn't mean anything by it, it's just..."

Before Akira could explain, Nezuko quickly shook her head, signaling that it was fine.

"You're really considerate. By the way, can you show me your half-demon transformation?"

Since Nezuko didn't mind, Akira saw no reason to hesitate. He was no child, and his curiosity was piqued. What he was more interested in now was whether characters copied from other worlds could use their original abilities.

If they could, the value of the Dog-Dog Fruit Model: Monster Racoon would skyrocket.

Nezuko nodded and moved to an open space.

"Heh~~~"

With a loud shout, Nezuko summoned her strength, her veins pulsing as her body began to transform.

Under Akira's attentive gaze, Nezuko quickly changed. Her body matured to the appearance of a sixteen or seventeen-year-old, small demon horns sprouted from her forehead, and vine-like markings appeared along her limbs.

As she entered her half-demon state, her aura intensified. The once gentle and harmless Nezuko now exuded the presence of a fearsome beast.

"It actually worked," Akira exclaimed, standing up abruptly, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

The half-demon Nezuko before him looked terrifying, but to Akira, she was full of a powerful and alluring presence. At that moment, he felt an overwhelming urge to laugh and shout to the world, "Garp, you are my savior!"

The fact that a character from another world could use their original abilities made him feel invincible. What was there to fear now? Any test to become a Fleet Admiral or complete ultimate missions seemed trivial in comparison.

Akira imagined summoning powerful villains like Boros, or Frieza. With such allies, even the Holy Land Mariejois could be taken over by tomorrow.

He quickly sat back down, pressing his fingers to his temples to calm himself. "Don't get ahead of yourself, stay focused, and test this further!"

"Nezuko, you can disappear now. I need to use the Leaf for something else."

Without hesitation, Nezuko walked over to the desk and vanished with a soft pop, leaving the leaf resting in front of Akira.

Taking a deep breath, Akira picked up the pen again, recalling the invincible and arrogant figure from his memories.

"Admiration is the furthest thing from understanding."

"Since the beginning, no one has ever stood in the heavens. Neither you, nor me, not even God himself. But that unbearable vacancy in the throne of Heaven shall be filled. From this day forth, I will stand in heaven."

"Don't use such strong words. It'll only make you look weak."

"A victor must speak not of the current state of the world, but of how it should rightfully be."

He began to write the name of the character who embodied this overwhelming presence—Aizen Sōsuke.

But as soon as the first stroke was made, the deformed leaf ignited spontaneously, burning to ashes in an instant.

At the same time, Akira's vision suddenly went dark.

"Dammit!"
