800 years ago, 20 kings came together to form the World Government, establishing their rule over the entire sea world.
Except for the Neferutari royal family, who refused to relocate to the Holy Land Mariejois, the other 19 kings brought their families there. The descendants of these 19 kings are the Celestial Dragons, who control the World Government, enjoy all privileges, and claim to be descendants of the Creator.
Over time, however, the Celestial Dragons, indulging in their immense wealth, have become widely corrupt as a group.
Still, they've ruled the world for eight centuries. During that time, many of the poorly educated and desensitized civilians have come to accept and even internalize their rule.
This is why it is crucial to dismantle the authority of the Celestial Dragons before overthrowing them.
And how can that be done?
The key lies in fully exposing the blank hundred years of history that they fear like venomous snakes.
Anyone with common sense can tell from the World Government's extreme reactions that this erased century must be severely damaging to them.
It could even challenge the legitimacy of the Celestial Dragons' control over the entire world.
That's why this should be the first step of rebellion.
Once the truth of the blank century spreads worldwide, people will start to question and resist their rule.
At that moment, with the rise of an army promoting freedom and equality, the results could be truly catastrophic for the Celestial Dragons.
Akira could already foresee that the growth of the Revolutionary Army's power would far surpass what was originally expected.
So, wealth like berries could be set aside for now—what truly needed to be secured was justice.
Dragon wasn't a fool.
After receiving Akira's guidance, he immediately understood.
"So, Raftel holds the complete Poneglyphs?"
"Yeah, Pirate King Roger gathered them all there. Once you reach it, you'll uncover the centuries-old truth."
"I see. I'll head out right away."
"Hold on, I've got two scholars to entrust to you. They'll help interpret the Poneglyphs, and their knowledge will make it easier for people to believe the truth."
"Understood."
"And if you ever get bored, I've got a few 'Selected Books' you can check out."
After a brief conversation, Akira and Dragon went their separate ways.
At a small café...
"Sister Rouge, brother is back!"
The bored little Robin was the first to notice the person everyone had been waiting for and immediately jumped up.
When the women heard this, their faces lit up with excitement.
They all stood up and looked outside.
In the distance, Akira was walking toward them, hands in his pockets, taking long strides.
There was a lingering smile on his face, clearly showing he was in a fantastic mood.
"Have you all got everything? If so, let's head out," Akira said with a chuckle as he approached.
"Yeah, we've been ready for a while, just waiting for you."
"Let's go, Akira-sama."
"Brother, have you had dinner? I saved a super delicious dish just for you!" Robin said excitedly as the group gathered around Akira and began walking toward the port.
The soldiers who had been guarding him quickly picked up several gifts and followed closely behind.
The warship sailed smoothly across the sea without any incidents and soon docked directly at Marineford.
Akira accompanied the girls back to the mansion.
"Olvia, come with me. I have something to discuss with you."
As the girls happily ran off with their shopping bags, Akira called out to Olvia.
Though she was confused, Olvia didn't ask questions. After handing little Robin to Rouge, she followed him.
They returned to the courtyard where they had talked that night and sat down on a stone bench.
"I've already arranged someone for you," Akira began calmly. "You and Dr. Clover can set out tomorrow, and he'll take you both safely to Raftel."
His tone was casual, but it stirred a storm of emotions in Olvia.
Safe passage to Raftel!
That meant the Poneglyphs—the very history she and the scholars had been searching for—were within reach!
The shock was so overwhelming that she froze for a moment.
But she quickly recovered.
"Fleet Admiral Akira, thank you, thank you so much."
"I really don't know how to express my gratitude."
Olvia stood up and cautiously approached Akira, clasping her hands together.
Akira smiled and shook his head.
"It's just mutual benefit, as long as you follow my instructions in the future."
"Don't worry, Dr. Clover and I will definitely keep our promise," Olvia assured him.
"Good," Akira nodded lightly, pulling out a cigar from his pocket. As he smoked, he glanced up at the sky, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"To reach Raftel, you need the four Road Poneglyphs."
"Zou, Big Mom, Kaido, and the Land of Giants," he mused.
"It seems impossible for Dragon to obtain them all on his own. Looks like the Marines or I will need to help from the shadows."
Akira's mind raced, thinking about the significance of the Poneglyphs and what lay ahead.
Suddenly, Olvia's figure appeared larger in his view. She had squatted down in front of him, her head tilted up, cheeks flushed.
"Stay in my room tonight," she said, her voice soft. "I don't know how else to repay you, but this is the only way I can think of…"
