Chapter 241 - Chapter 239: Yes, it's too bad!

Harley Quinn's dance was mesmerizing, her movements seductive. She slowly peeled off her jacket, tossing it aside, revealing a small white T-shirt clinging to her body, drenched from the rain. Beneath the wet fabric, her red underwear was clearly visible.

Outside, the rain poured harder, hammering against the windows. Inside, Su Sheng sat at the bar, sipping his drink, his eyes following every sway and twist of Harley's dance. A heat began to rise in him, like a fire igniting within.

Click.

The sound of a button being undone reached his ears as Harley sashayed over, lifting her shirt teasingly. "Do you want it?" she whispered seductively.

Su Sheng chuckled. "Yes, A, but I can't afford it."

"Gluck, gluck," Harley giggled, stepping closer. "But it misses you."

She stood before him, chest out like a soldier waiting for inspection. Su Sheng smiled, reaching out, and Harley's face lit up, thrilled as if she'd been praised.

The rain outside continued to fall, the wind howled, and inside, the fire between them roared to life. With a wild grin, Harley pushed Su Sheng to the floor, taking charge as the madness between them exploded.

Tick, tick, tick...

Time passed, the storm outside gradually easing until the rain was just a light drizzle. On the floor of the bar, Harley lay sprawled atop Su Sheng. Her ponytails were undone, and her makeup was smeared beyond recognition. Su Sheng exhaled deeply, looking at Harley with a new kind of admiration.

She was different. More unhinged, more daring. Her wildness had drawn him in completely, pulling him into a moment where time and place ceased to matter.

"Dear…" Harley's voice trembled as she lifted her head slightly. "We're going to miss the good show."

"Good show?"

The Suicide Squad's showdown with the witch? Su Sheng raised an eyebrow as Harley retied her hair, wiped her face clean with some wine, and threw on her tattered clothes.

He stood up, adjusted his outfit, and moved to the window. Outside, the sky was lit with a blue glow. In the distance, the sound of gunfire echoed. Squinting, Su Sheng could just make out the Suicide Squad, already at the building where Amanda Waller was located, engaging in what looked like a rescue operation. One figure seemed to be missing.

"Slipknot's gone," Su Sheng noted.

"Is he dead?" Harley asked, wrapping her arms around Su Sheng from behind.

"Slipknot," Su Sheng repeated. "That idiot."

Harley pouted. "Well, I'm not surprised."

Despite her current state of madness, Harley was a trained psychologist. She could easily gauge someone's character with just a short interaction, and Slipknot had been too predictable.

"Honey, should we go over there? I really want to see what happens next," Harley purred, her voice playful and eager.

"Sure," Su Sheng agreed with a grin. Holding her close, he lifted his leg and smashed through the glass window, jumping out into the open air.

"Wow!" Harley screamed, half in excitement, half in thrill. "We're flying! We're birds! Let me go, darling!"

"Alright." Su Sheng laughed and let her go.

Harley tumbled downward, laughing maniacally all the way, only for Su Sheng to swoop in and catch her just before she hit the ground. She giggled uncontrollably as he soared back into the air, holding her tight.

"Fantastic!" Harley kissed him excitedly as they flew toward the rooftop of Amanda Waller's building. After landing, Harley stood on tiptoe, wrapping her legs around him for another deep kiss. It was as if the madness had unlocked something even more reckless inside her.

Boom!

The rooftop door burst open, and the Suicide Squad stepped out, guarding Amanda Waller. They stopped short when they saw Su Sheng and Harley Quinn. The sight of the two standing there caught them off guard, but they quickly refocused. There wasn't much camaraderie between them and Harley, anyway. Unlike in the movies, there were no real bonds between the Squad. Everyone was driven by survival, with bombs in their necks forcing them to cooperate. Harley, however, was free from such constraints.

From the start, Harley had only joined the Squad to lure Su Sheng out, and now that she had succeeded, the rest of the team was irrelevant to her.

"The plane's here," someone in the Squad said, and they all looked up as a helicopter approached. It hovered at the edge of the roof, and Amanda Waller turned to the Squad.

"I'll go first. Another plane will come for you shortly," she announced.

None of them dared protest. They knew better than to cross Waller.

Just as Waller was about to board, Su Sheng's voice rang out. "Leaving so soon?"

Amanda Waller paused, turning to look at him.

Su Sheng smiled, his arm draped around Harley. "What about the witch? Or is there no second plane? Were you planning to abandon them and force them to deal with her?"

All eyes turned to Amanda Waller.

"Is that true?" Deadshot asked, his voice low and dangerous.

"There is a second plane," Waller replied, her face unreadable. "You just have to wait."

"Is she telling the truth?" Deadshot asked Su Sheng.

Su Sheng shrugged, saying nothing, but Harley Quinn let out a playful laugh. "Even if there is a second plane... there won't be for long."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Captain Boomerang snapped.

"It means this." Harley grinned. "If there is a plane, we're blowing it up!"

Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed across the rooftop as the helicopter burst into flames. The blast knocked several members of the Squad to the ground.

"What the hell just happened?" someone yelled, coughing from the smoke.

The Squad looked toward Su Sheng and Harley, but the two stood there as if they had nothing to do with the explosion.

"Look down," Katana said suddenly, her voice grim. She pointed toward the street below, where hordes of the witch's transformed monsters were gathering like a tidal wave, surrounding the building from all sides.

The real fight was just beginning.
