Boom!
Su Sheng's abrupt landing instantly caught everyone's attention. He casually pulled out an ear as he looked at Astra. "I didn't quite catch that. What did you say?"
"It's you!" Astra recognized him immediately, despite the change in his battle suit. She sneered. "I don't know who you are, and I don't care to know. But if you don't want to die, you'd better get out of the way!"
"Clap! Clap! Clap!"
Su Sheng clapped his hands, chuckling. "Honestly, I really want to see who thinks they have the power to kill me."
Astra sneered back, "Do you think you can control this situation with just a battle suit? Look around you—how many people can you save, and how many can you defeat?"
"Who said the battle suit was my only advantage?" Su Sheng asked with a grin.
Astra hesitated, then said, "Why else would you need a battle suit if not for protection?"
"Some people just love projecting their own limitations onto others. Aren't you afraid of getting slapped in the face?" Su Sheng laughed, and the suit quickly retracted into a bracelet around his wrist.
"An Earthling?" Astra wasn't overly surprised by the revelation.
"Are you out of your mind?" Alex whispered urgently as she moved to Su Sheng's side. "Don't let her provoke you into giving up your advantage."
"Do you think I can't handle this without the suit?" Su Sheng turned to ask.
Alex hesitated, unsure. From the moment she'd met Su Sheng, it seemed like the battle suit was his main asset. "Do you have other abilities?"
"Yes, and plenty of them!" Su Sheng chuckled, giving Alex a serious look. "Really? Then why haven't you—"
"Why haven't I mentioned or used them yet? We're not exactly at the point where I need to reveal everything about myself. Plus, this battle suit is new; I wanted to have some fun with it. But now, I'm getting bored. Take Supergirl and step aside."
Alex was still uneasy, but something about Su Sheng's demeanor made her trust him. She slowly backed away, dragging the unconscious Supergirl with her.
Turning to Astra, Su Sheng declared with absolute confidence, "If I take a single step back, consider me defeated. If anyone here dies by your hand, consider me defeated! And if in five minutes any of your people are still standing—or even kneeling—consider me defeated!"
The arrogance in his words was overwhelming, bordering on madness.
"Who gave you the nerve to say that?" Astra snarled.
"Liang Jingru!" Su Sheng chuckled.
Astra frowned, unfamiliar with the name. Was this some cosmic entity or a powerful figure on Earth? It didn't matter. Raising her hand, she decided this was the best chance to strike.
"Kill him!" Astra commanded.
In an instant, the Kryptonians' eyes glowed red, and blue laser beams shot toward Su Sheng from all directions. At that moment, a blue light enveloped Su Sheng, forming a protective sphere around him.
"Hmph, is that all?" Astra scoffed. "All that talk, and this is it?"
"Su Sheng!" Alex cried out instinctively.
Sizzle... Boom!
The blue sphere exploded, releasing a powerful shockwave that sent dust flying everywhere. As the debris settled, Su Sheng's figure emerged—completely unscathed.
"Su Sheng!" Alex's tone shifted from fear to amazement.
Su Sheng stood there, not a scratch on him, his clothes completely intact.
"H-How is this possible?" Astra stammered in disbelief.
Under the combined laser attack of multiple Kryptonians, not even his clothes were damaged!
Absorbing the energy and layering it with his invincible body of steel, Su Sheng had achieved something nearly mythical. If not for the concern of damaging his clothes, he wouldn't have even bothered using the energy absorption ability.
"Humph!" Su Sheng snorted, and in the blink of an eye, a red laser beam shot from his eyes.
Swish!
One of the Kryptonians was hit instantly, his chest pierced through as he fell from the sky.
"H-How can this be?" Astra gasped, her shock deepening.
Red laser beams? How could they be so powerful?
There was no need for her to issue another order—the other Kryptonians charged at Su Sheng in a frenzy.
"Kneel before me!" Su Sheng commanded, his voice booming as he amplified the power of his body of steel a hundredfold.
A hundred times!
He had never used such an intense level of power before. Grabbing one Kryptonian's fist, he twisted it with ease before slamming his own fist into the Kryptonian's head.
Boom!
The Kryptonian's head shattered as if made of brittle glass, Su Sheng's fist driving through it and into the ground below. The impact was so immense that the Kryptonian's body exploded, the shockwave flattening the surrounding tents and buildings of the DEO base. The earth trembled beneath Su Sheng's fist, the ground cracking as the force penetrated deep into the planet.
The earth was split in two.
This single punch tore through the Kryptonian's steel-like body and caused the planet to fracture from one end to the other. The sky darkened as volcanoes erupted, tsunamis surged, and the world descended into an apocalyptic nightmare.
Earth was split down the middle.
One punch—just one punch—had done this.
"You... You destroyed the earth! Are you insane?" Astra shouted in horror as she floated into the air, using her x-ray vision to confirm the damage.
"Did I overdo it?" Su Sheng slowly raised his fist, glancing at Astra. "No matter, the deal still stands. If I lose, I'll help you rebuild Krypton."
"Madman! You're a madman! How can you rebuild Krypton if Earth is destroyed?" Astra yelled, her voice filled with rage.
