Chapter 153 - Chapter 152: Go Bald, Lex Luthor!

Lex Luthor stroked his hair and chuckled. "Although this setting sounds interesting, as far as I know, you and Superman are called Superman, right? This name is really low. You're not bald, so this setting may not be accurate!"

"Trust me, only when you're bald are you the real Lex Luthor!" Su Sheng replied. Lex Luthor's bald image is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Perhaps the saying that long hair indicates limited knowledge is true? After all, once bald, Lex Luthor's IQ rises significantly. As an ordinary human, Lex Luthor's achievements in the comics are comparable to Batman's.

In particular, the exoskeleton armor with Kryptonite that he developed gave Superman a lot of trouble. The movie "Batman vs. Superman" was also orchestrated by him, and he used Zod's corpse and Kryptonite technology to create Doomsday, which led to Superman's death! But what Su Sheng admires most is that Lex Luthor even has a son with Superman!

Superboy, Conner Kent!

He was created by Lex Luthor using cloning technology, with half of his genetic material from Superman and the other half from Lex Luthor.

This is the real enemy who loves and hates each other—a far more compelling relationship than Batman and the Joker, at least they don't have a son together!

Su Sheng placed the green Kryptonite on the table and chuckled. "This is called Kryptonite, and it's the biggest weakness of Kryptonians. Once Kryptonians get close to Kryptonite, they lose their invulnerability and a series of superhuman abilities, becoming as fragile as ordinary people. Currently, most of the Kryptonite on Earth is in my hands. If you shave your head, I'll allow you to use this Kryptonite to make a weapon, giving you the chance to study and analyze it."

"It sounds like I'm doing you a favor for free," Lex Luthor said slowly.

"I think many people would fight for this opportunity," Su Sheng chuckled.

"Deal!" Lex Luthor stared at the Kryptonite with excitement in his eyes. He rubbed his hands and walked over to pick up the Kryptonite, then suddenly approached Su Sheng. "Why doesn't it affect you?"

"Last night, although ARGUS imposed martial law on the block, I know that you and Superman defeated General Zod. You used the same abilities as him, so can I assume that while General Zod might be stronger than Superman, he could also ignore the effects of Kryptonite?" Lex Luthor looked at Su Sheng, then suddenly smiled. "Or is it that you're not a Kryptonian, but you copied his abilities? You reported Superman's presence to Louise Lane to draw him out and copy his abilities!"

"You are more valuable for research than this stone," Lex Luthor stared at Su Sheng with intense curiosity, then smiled after a while. "It's a pity you won't let me study you, and I can't do anything about you, so I'll have to give up for now."

Turning around, Lex Luthor looked at Carol Ferris. "I want to meet Superman."

"That's impossible!" Superman's existence is very special, and naturally, he can't be casually exposed.

Lex Luthor shook the Kryptonite. "You don't need me to remind you that the best way to study this is to test it on a Kryptonian, and Superman is the best and only test subject available right now."

Carol Ferris hesitated for a moment, then got up and left the office to call her superiors.

"Take advantage of this opportunity to study it. If there's a chance, I'll have you do something interesting." Su Sheng got up, walked over to Lex Luthor, patted his shoulder, then turned to Mercy Graves, who looked annoyed. "Come, help him get a haircut."

Mercy Graves looked at Lex Luthor, who nodded slightly.

Click, click, click.

The sound of high heels echoed as Mercy Graves turned and left the room.

Before long, she returned with a set of barber tools and helped Lex Luthor shave his head. Watching the blond hair fall in tufts, Lex Luthor's expression grew increasingly grim. Though he had agreed to this condition, anyone in his situation would be unhappy.

Click!

When Lex Luthor's head was as bald as an egg, Su Sheng took a picture with his phone.

Carol Ferris entered the room and was momentarily stunned by Lex Luthor's new hairstyle. After a moment, she said, "They've agreed to your request. Someone will come to take you to meet Superman."

"Good."

Poor Superman had no idea that Lex Luthor, with curiosity and a hint of displeasure, was about to conduct "friendly" research on him using Kryptonite. Meanwhile, the world outside was abuzz with speculation about how the government would handle the alien threat. The name "Kal-El" had become the most frequently mentioned name online, on TV, and in everyday conversations.

Everyone was discussing what to do.

Where is Kal-El? What is his purpose for hiding on Earth? Should he be handed over to the aliens once found? And what if a war breaks out?

Su Sheng only had one feeling about all this news:

Worrying for nothing!

No matter how much they discussed, what would it change?

Of course, not everyone was just talking. Many known and unknown superheroes were preparing in their respective cities. After all, no one knew where the Kryptonians would appear next!

The hotel where Su Sheng had stayed the previous night had been temporarily requisitioned; everyone was evacuated, and military soldiers moved in.

After Su Sheng, Louise Lane, and Carol Ferris left LexCorp, they returned to the hotel.

With nothing to do, Su Sheng chatted with Louise Lane and Carol Ferris, especially Carol Ferris. Though she held the rank of Major and was currently a secretary to the General, she was actually a very skilled pilot. And, being the daughter of Carl Ferris, the owner of Ferris Air, she was quite wealthy. Ferris Air's market value was not low at all; they not only independently developed new aircraft and sold them to the military and other sectors, but also built many airports.

There's even a Ferris Airport in Central City. When The Flash first gained his powers, he tested them there, only to become trapped in the Speed Force, needing to be rescued by Cisco Ramon later in the TV series. All of this happened at Ferris Airport!

Carol Ferris was probably the richest woman Su Sheng had encountered so far.

Of course, this wealth was only on the surface.

"Is Louise Lane your girlfriend?" After chatting for a while, they became more familiar, and Carol Ferris was no longer as restrained as before.

"I have a girlfriend, but it's not her!" Su Sheng glanced at Louise Lane and chuckled.
